Morning all,
I have had a bright idea this morning while over looking the carpark and spotting a few soarer's out there.
We should have an Official letter/invite letting non members know about this great website. Something that we could print out and put on there window.
I'm sure we have people on here that can do up a quick letter...
Anyways what do people think of this idea?

I think it would be a great idea, Ive seen a few soarers about which i just stop and tell them about this site(thats is if someone is in the car). |

There was a time when I would have shot or at least assaulted anyone who touched one of my cars. This stops me from putting notes on windscreens  |

This was primarily the reason we printed out the business cards for the old ALSC club. When ever you met a non member you gave them the card or left one under their car's wiper. |

IF a soarer driver does not know about this club they dont deserve to be here.
IF they research about the car it means they care about it, it means they will stumble on this forum,
and join 3 minutes later when they realise what champions everyone here is. |

Wouldn't use the cards on a rainy day though, probably just soak all the ink out. |

I always carry business cards with me, be it in my wallet or if im working in a holder.. if i spot a Soarer parked and im nearby ill stick a card under their wiper with the website address on it and the word "SPOTTED!" at the top.

I'd say go for it and make business cards or flyers for the club..
DOesnt matter if they find us by word of mouth, cards, flyers or doing research.. its always nice to see a fellow appreciative soarer owner  |

yeh ive done a few notes under windscreen wipers, its good for cause.
i was thinkin about somthing a lil more offical also, i may just wak a few up on my computer and hand em out to people who come into my Servo with their Soarers / Celsiors... |

If anyone does whip up some flyers could you forward a copy to me.
I have seen a few nice Soarers around and it would have been great to let them know about this website. Even though I 'stumbled' on it when researching the car, it would have been great to know about it before hand and saved a lot of time reading more info than what I originally wanted.
Met a guy this morning at a petrol station who had just bought his white TT in October and only just got it complied and registered last week. Told him about SC and he couldn't write the address down fast enough. As he works there, am sure to run into him again. |
