I can attest to Rob's map being a screamer!
It would be interesting to see the movement of the first and second rpm settings to higher. I wonder if it would help (tuning in the perfect 12:1AFR)or hinder (less power down low)...
Any thoughts? |

anton: couldn't save your file? When I click save as it turns it into a .unk file? I then renamed it to .wmf and opened it and all I got was the wolf 3d base map? Can you try and save that to your computer and see if you can load it? |

Thanks for the e mail Dragan but the attachment will not down load or open for me ?, down loaded your file in this thread but there are no settings in it ? THE safc2 file opened for me using EXCEL |

dragan: that looks bloody easy to tune  Just checking the map sensor you have is 2 bar? so 5v = 14.7psi? |

Ok, other than starting a new emanage thread, I thought I'd use this one. The only place I know that says their confident of tuning the emanage blue is 101 motor cafe, but as if I'm paying $1500 for it! I think that's a little bit too much. What I'm asking is that if anyone knows of other good reputable garages that can do this for me at a cheaper figure? |

motor cafe... i got mine done there.. i would personally not go back there. they did not use additional injection map, told me that they cant check injector duty cycle and a few other things.
From reading emanage forums from the US, the additional injection map is the only way to add fuel.
Also they did not know how to use the anti stall feature.
unfortunately it seems people just dont know how to tune them in queensland.
tuned automotive just built a 2.2 stroker botom end for my mates •• liberty. Have heard good things about them.

Yeah as if I'd be paying that much for nothing.
Let's see. I called DriftKing Geebung, they can install but can't tune. Michael from DriftKing then told me to take my car to Chiptorque down the coast they can fit and tune for $650.
Redcliffe Dyno can fit and tune, however you need to supply them with the software.
Mercury Motorsport could do it but not very confident with the soarers. Recommended 101 Cafe, when pig's fly!
Pro Torque Performance Slacks Creek may do it, haven't called them yet.
And the place were I'm taking it to would be Tuned Automotive at the Gabba. Spoke to a very nice guy called Mike which can do it for $650.
So there are a few places for you lazy people who ask about this sort of crap. |

I dunno, but I can tell you that Rob from motor cafe 101 has been nothing but helpful to me, and considering i'm yet to spend a cent there, i'm extremely appreciative of his input. I'd be reluctant to slag on a workshop full stop, unfortunately most of us have had good and bad experiences with different workshops...
I'll be heading to 101... Fingers crossed its a good experience. |
