I currently own a AE102 Corolla Seca, but its getting to a limit as to what i can do (performance wise), without wasting too much money. So I'm thinking i probably should just sell it and go for a lux Soarer.

Now I'm thinking I'd prefer the TT over the V8 for two reasons - fuel efficiency, and easier to get more power out of. Is there any TTs with leather or is that reserved for the V8s? Manuals appear to be quite rare, is it hard to convert the auto to manual if i so desire?

What are the stock specs i could expect?
- 0-60MPH(0-100KPH)
- 1/4 Mile (400M) (main one i'm interested in :D :D)
- top speed ;)

well v8's are more fuel effiecient but if you after a tt with leather interior get in touch with david saunders i think it is and see if hes still got his.

You'll find plenty of info on these boards. Remember search is your friend :-)

You can convert a stock auto to a manual if you so wish.

Top speed they're all limited to 180km/h unless they've been lifted with either a full aftermarket ECU or such.

Adam, you're probably right about the fuel efficiency if you are heavy footed but if you are not then I would expect the TT be more fuel efficient.

I don't get more than 6-7 km/l out of my V8 in city traffic. If I'm REALLY careful I may be able to get close to 8 but I've never actually done that.

I don't get much practice in mine and I guess it isn't standard but I have got 0-100 in 5.2 seconds on the road and would probably have a top speed around 280km/h, not that it matters much, not advisable on public roads and no race tracks have straights long enough.

Troy, yours doesn't count!!! :P

0-100 - 6 flat on a good day
1/4 Mile - 14.0 I've run, guys with LSDs or a manual or the single turbo VVTi have run 13s
Top Speed - Limited as said, probably 240-250 without limiter. Not that you should be trying that mister!
