Well the examples given are stupid. Who in there right mind would put a VS v6 engine into a toyota hilux, or the same shitbox VS V6 into a toyota landcruiser. Are they trying to say toyotas are shit or something?

I also like this one, external wastegates are not permitted. Well better ban all the old school audi's then cause they were all externally wastegated. ie. 1993 audi S4 is externally wastegated from the factory.

Also the section about non original electronic chips or computers. Says must be sealed or otherwise constructed so as not to be reprogrammable. Well again better ban all cars that can be chipped with chiptorque chip, and all nissans that can be programmed with a cheapo 8 bit eprom reprogrammers.

This document is worthy of a) wiping your ass with b) using to start your living room fireplace with c) tossing in the recycle bin were it can be recycled into a written document that is much more useful to the human race.

it also makes any soarer with headers no longer compliant, as you are forced to move the cats further from the engine.

It just makes a sweeping statement, external wastegates are not permitted. They based all there research on what comes out of holden and ford factorys in melbourne, which is not at all hard to believe.

I had the filter switched off briefly, you got lucky because I am not going to SinBin you for this one.

But really, there shouldn't be a need to even have the filter if you guys behaved a bit better.

Beacuse clearly the paint is going to increase emmissions to an unacceptable level, thus jeopardizing the entire ecology of the known universe.

You best leave the filter up, Pen. :-)

The people who write these rules must have a huge chip on their shoulders and take their "small man syndrome" out on the rest of the country! Stop justifiing your jobs and jump off a bridge and we'll all be a lot happier.

Jumping off a bridge is also ecologically sound provided they spend sufficient time in the water to be eaten rather than being fished out and burned to useless cinders.

Just trying to help the planet.

Cihan, I read it that he was referring to the Vehicle rules, not the forum rules!
