Guys, in all honesty it comes straight back down to the tyres. No matter how much power you have or what situation your in, spend big on quality tyres and they could save your life.

A stock TT will rip up cheap tyres. Stick on some Neo's or Precedas and you wont have a hint of wheel spin doing practically anything but weight transfer induced slide or donut.

I just bought a 3L straight six as my first car and although i am on my green p's at the moment i reckon its a good car to start off with as long as your a good driver. Pricey?.... not my one which is in perfect condition body and paint, 80000kms, 17lexus rims, full lexus badging, 97rear lights, full leather interior only 3months old for the price of $14500 so yeh if you look around you can find a great 3L. Bugger the 2L man tell him to go for it
