Thought you guys might like to see one of my last runs at Santa Pod last october. As you can see, with the blower on the car needs some serious drag radials to hook it up!
Hehe that run was 20 seconds, I should have lifted off much earlier but hey I'm a newbie to qtr mile racing and its all experience! The best I could do on two more runs was 14.7, its the 60ft times which killed me. But I was running on 19s, I'm going to get a pair of MT ET street radials running on 15s which should give me the hookup I need so badly.
Grateful if anyone, especially Neil, can give me some advice on how to put in a killer time. Should I start off in second? Maybe put TRC on? (I have good racelogic TRC) should I pre-rev to 2k?
That run believe it or not was in drive the whole way, the gear changes are just toooo slow for the blower. Now I have a MK1 shift kit installed so hoping that will take it from 2nd to 3rd more quickly without hitting the cut. I know the car could have easily ran a 13 on that day, its very frustrating!
