| These are the only two problems with the paint exterior. Not majors. I dont mind to much about them...
Is there any way to repair that small cracking?
20cm scrape on door. Thats the only real scratch on the the car! But its quite hard to see it... |

| Heres the Digital Dash. It worked perfectly. Nice and clear, no dust in it etc. My digital camera was playing up in that photo + there was glare from the sun

| I Also forgot to mention this one has the LCD rear vision mirror. It Works fantastically. I was sitting it the car and was like hmm what’s that button on the mirror for? So I pushed & wow it went from light to dark. Therefore this limited is full spec apart from having no TRC, who would want TRC any way! It only makes your car slower... |

| Mike, I wuz thinking......would it not be easier to get a short term loan from the bank/olds/rich stupid friends, so that you can secure the vehicle, and then that'd give you a month or so to flog the Hoonda. Just thinking that knowing your luck, you'll flog the Hoonda, and the Snoarer will be "Sorry, SOLD". And, YES, I've heard that old bollocks, "There'll always be another one round the corner", BUT you may end up cornering in ever decreasing circles.

| Dam No sale on the rafaga. Close but not quite, offered 6k 3 times but I wanted 7.5k - I should have taken it but never mind! I can be greedy sometimes. Next sunday Ill be able to do it Im sure, at a more realistic price. 6.5k cash should do it... Also I asked the purchasing the soarer without the wheels - $7500 is their lowest so ill have to buy with out wheels for $6500 and get some TT wheels or V8 ones before hand. |

| Pfft, $1000 extra for a fairly plain set of used 17" 6 spokes with some second hand rubber on them? They are dreaming! |

| I had another look at the car today just to check on a few things. It has the original wheel nuts. Good tread on the spare 15" rim. Getting a WOF at the end of the week. And I’ve found a set of 15" v8 rims with good tread to buy. Only $120 for the lot! Collect them on Friday. However there’s a new problem with the touch screen/Radio/CD player. IT wont turn on the screen comes with the a/c and radio but nothing else up so when you push the volume button on nothing happens, same if you push TV, fm1/fm2, tape, cd or am. We checked the fuses out nothing wrong there on a quick look. In the boot there’s a wire soldered on the stock subwoofer for a future link to another subwoofer perhaps that caused a short? Any ideas on why the stereos on going? This only happened a day or two ago! Also the touch screen pushes have not been working for about 2 years ever since the owner tried a different type of cleaning product! Any ideas on this problem of why it won’t sense touches? |

| Heres some more super pictures
Notice the cupholder screwed in to the dash on the right side? Useful but really a bad look. Ill have to replace that entire pannel around the bottem of the steering column otherwise there will be screw marks! Also it needs proper floor mats. Those are like carpets from a house! Genuine ones would be prefered but $15 sets from supa cheap auto will be just as good.

That part isn't attached to the panel around the bottom |

| Maximum cost to fix the EMV/stereo would be in the $500 region, probably a lot cheaper. Dead pixels in the EMV screen is the only real worry. That will cost a couple of hundred to replace if it is a bad one so check carefully (they are also very hard to get good ones). Oh, and the flouro tube in the dash needs replacing, it is going black on the ends (as flouro tubes will), good excuse to do the colour change Door handle scratches will most likely polish out a bit and look OK. |

| So what on a guess do you think needs doing for the emv to re-gain the touch function? And Make the stereo work again? Just to clear things up. |

| Does the aircon screen work on the EMV? If so then the fault is probably the radio tuner, $150 exchange If not the fault is probably EMV computer, $150 exchange. So either way about $150 + post to fix the stereo. For the touch screen I'd need the whole EMV as touch screens can be very touchy (? !) and one that works in a particular EMV may not work in another. Worst case is $180 for a new (2nd hand) one. I would recommend getting the EMV capacitors replaced while you're at it as they WILL fail eventually (sooner rather than later) and cause a heap more trouble when they do. Add $80 for EMV and computer to be done so all up a maximum of $260 but probably less than $150. Quite possibly the EMV fix may fix the stereo too (if the aircon and stereo screens are totally blank this will be the case)so you may have a bit of a win there. Postage to/from NZ is not too bad either, cheaper than to/from Perth. just remember not to declare value of more than $300 or you could be hit with import duty. If this car wasn't so far away I'd have bought it myself by now |

| Well the a/c turns on fine but you can only use the buttons above the screen. The touch screen just displays two white empty boxes, top A/c and bottom radio. If you push tv, tape, fm1/2, am nothing changes. A week or so ago it was working fine the radio/aircon. Thats pretty much the whole problem |
