My god i would take a dc5-R any day.
white, red, white.. coilovers, spoon extractors, custom 3" exhaust, spoon cams, valvetrain and hi comp overbore pistons, stage 3 port polished head, motec m series management and a spare cup holder.
One day i will have a dc5 screamer making 150fwkw running 13's!
Come on! everyone wants a honda screamer with bucket seats, six cogs and a 9 grand redline...

I have the 1.8 litre 2003 Corolla and it is a fisty little car. Geared very high, pick up is very fast but it feels like it needs a 6th or 7th gear at the top end. Haven't tried, but I suspect it will make a good motorkana car.
The Outlander is a different type of car all together. Not sure how it will stack up against a Forester, which it is pitched against.

I'm sure they have improved, but my 1988 Civic GT forever soured me to Hondas. It was just a basket case. Plus despite being quite quick and handling quite well, the driving position was like driving a bus - a really plasticy, tacky interiored bus. Same deal with every Honda I've ever driven, though I haven't driven anything past a 2000 model Accord.
Don Bagnall Moderator New Zealand I have LESS Soarers than Hayden :-(

I used to love the old Preludes (NOT!). Everytime you put em in drive or reverse, you'd think the trans was gonna fall out on the deck. Same as the 80's Accords
