Hi all
sorry if this has been asked before but there is a little red button on the middle console (Where the automatic gear lever is) It has Japanese writing underneath it. Anybody know what this button is for.

It's so you can get the gear lever out of park without the ignition on, I think. |

Louise, NO, it's not for pushing the car off the road when it won't start. It's for pushing the car into a very narrow Japanese parking space after you've folded the mirrors and left the car. |

hey peoples i test drove my zz30 today for the first time n was pressing that red button thinkin WHAT THE.. but cool now i know what it is. |

mine doesn't work. I pushed it all the way and I still can't get the car out of gear. Hmm, maybe it's not attached peoperly :/ |

Try it with your foot on the brake while you press the button  |

My button works without the brake on, but you still have to push the release on the handle as well. |

If you hold the washer stalk, press the power button, raise the bootlid and undo the bonnet whilst pressing the red button the airbag will go off. |
