Not really Khan, But they can be wired to your headlight so they switch on without turning.

I though that the 94 Soarers come with the driving lights, like the one in the picture:

Yes, I thought 94-96 lights were fogs. They certainly are on our '95. The switch is on the light stalk.

Maybe it was produced in 1993 and registered first time in 1994.

Is there any differences between reflector patterns from 91 turning lights to 94 fog lights?

I have a 91 model and I was thinking of re-wiring the turning lights to a seperate switch, so that I can turn them on and off like Fog lights.

Whats your opinion on this guys??

that is probably the best way to go. Is there a way that they can be wired so when you turn your lights off they go off too. And when you turn them back on they go on as well, and you still have a separate switch to turn them off when you spot cops. That would be good wouldn't it?

The 94 model have got the fog lights and the switch is were the head light switch is.If the front bar has been changed then the switch should still be there(strange).

There's a tutorial on Reepa's site about converting existing turning lights into fogs.

A very easy job, but you can take it further, and actually re-shape the bulb holder area to bring the bulb more into a fore & aft position, rather than the obvious side angle that they are on as cornering lamps.

On a similar subject, has anyone ever stumbled accross lights that would fit the small circle gaps on the front of a bomex kit?

it is written 1994 on compliance plate and there is no extra switch inside for fog lights! actually where should be the switch? My V8's cornering lights exactly look like 1993-1996. can anyone do the cornering lights conversion in Melbourne?

Our Wizard has small round lights, Callum, six of them, all Cibie. They aren't common, but they are out there. They were used extensively in Japanese "Aero" kits like that fitted to our car. I have seen them come up on TradeMe.

What diameter hole are you trying to fill?

Easy to find out Khan. Is your headlights (the ones in the middle) glass or plastic.
If they're glass then it's the '94 and if it's glass then it's 91-93.

Another way: get the engine number and look up the production date:
http://www.jkwebdesign.co.uk/lexusclub/productiontables.htm

btw: I would love to have cornering lights instead of the useless fog lights. Living in Sydney they are not really that useful since it's illegal to use them if it's not foggy.

Plastic, if 91-93:-)?

Really, about the foglights in Sydney? I use mine all the time here, as cows have free reign, and would be inclined to, over there, too. I have been stuck behind stupid BMW drivers who have left their rear one on for hundreds (it seemed:-) of kms.

The Subaru had a single foglight at the rear too (other side was a single reversing light- I lost count of the comments about "one reversing light") and it was worse than a brake light- when it blew I never replaced the globe in over 5 years.

Funny we both have green V8's, from Melbourne and yes, "seemingly" same corner lights.

Benny, do you look up the production date by VIN or Engine no? VIN doesnt match with the list at all. If the engine no is 1UZ0197275, it should be around April 1994. is it correct?

Likewise matey!
I believe it's the number just above your engine which is the VIN # stamped into the chassis firewall. Eg Mine is UZZ31-0007587, meaning about september 91.
