I doubt the circle lights would be $286.00.

The clear one's possibly I or Aaron could get.

European style? Don't blame us!

We Europeans call them "Lexus style" (and that's not a cue for another Lexus vs Toyota "discussion"), although Lexus have stopped using them, can't think why. :-)

How about if the glass was smoky? That would probably look good on a dark car. I saw a 380VRX today with that kind of look and I didn't mind it.

I like these lamps, one way to personalise your car.

Ok, I have sussed them out, unlike all the other lamps previously sold these are made in a factory. Probably from 2nd hand bases though.

I can land them for APPROX 44,000 yen, today that is $525. My profit you wonder? 3870 yen or $45.00 I have to either charge at the going currency rate, or take more profit. I have chosen the currency way.

I reckon postage is 4000 yen and then there is my agents fee and paypal fees etc etc. Postage is by sea and will take 4~6 weeks.

It's possible that there is no internal postage either (in Japan) which will reduce it by about 1500 yen.

Right now, I don't know till we buy 1 set.

As I am not selling these but only acting as a buying agent I offer not comment about colour, fitment, warranty, quality or anything else. OK people?

I think they'd probably look better on a Black/Silver or White Snoarer too, but I can think of a lot of things I could spend half a grand on before them.

That Barina (or Corsa as it is called in the UK) makes me wanna puke! You can tell the RHS exhaust pipe isn't even real, it's very clean compared to the LHS one. Looks like rice is a world plague now...

Dan is right. British cars are supposed to be good (excluding GM) but from what i've heard they are not better than an average jap car if not worse (Rover/MG, Jaguar etc).

Nick, you're comparing quality made cars (jap ones) with poorly designed cars (british ones). Almost every mechanic will tell you ALL british cars piss oil since new. Cars like Jaguars spend more time in the workshop getting fixed than on the road. Whatever good skills the British have, car manufacturing and design is not one of them.

What British cars? :-)
Jaguar and Aston Martin are Ford, Rover/MG (if it comes back) is Chinese, Nissan make cars in the North-East, Honda are in Swindon, VAG own Bentley, BMW own Rolls-Royce and MINI, TVR is Russian and is closing down ..... I think Morgan must be the biggest British car maker now.

Gareth, I was referring to both now and then. I know today most are foreign owned, though some still made locally in the UK... I guess the only quality car there is the Rolls-Royce and the mini, as BMW has high QC standards, though I'm not sure if they are made locally. However Ford definately won't help Jag fix its quality flaws for example. Fords piss oil themselves.

Putting aside who actually owns the companies, I'd totally agree that Brits can't design and build reliable cars - but as for style and class - they definitely have it. Jags, Astin Martin, Lotus make some nice looking cars - TVR, Morgan all make really nice looking cars too - Brits have good car taste.

Ferrari's are nice to look at for a bit, but really when you think about it totally over done. BMW's are boring looking, and for the most part designed in the US now (OK, I do like the new 6 series) I do like Mercs, but again, no better looking than many Brit cars.

I agree, British cars are stylish. Their designs (at least the skin & interior) are (or were)fabulous but execution was flawed. For many years Japanese cars were whitegoods on wheels, boring as hell, but very reliable. Eventually they also became stylish as well. So we have stylish and reliable cars, something the British had difficulty achieving.

We shouldn't forget some British innovations either, like superchargers, the jet engine, the Wolf cycle engine etc.
