Not too shabby at all. Mind telling me how you managed to get that effect (light blur)? I'm assuming that it'd be digital manipulation. I have managed to do that in-camera a few times, and have also had a corresponding amount of near death experiences!

I'd really love to do some very low angle tracking shots of a few cars, but the notion of harnessing myself out the back of a station wagon mission impossible style, 6" off the deck at 80km/h plus isn't exactly high on my list of priorities at the moment! I've tried doing it with photoshop, but it's just not the same

and don't worry about going 80km/h. if you see in the 2nd picture the dash says 3km/h.

my mate and i are organising some more rig shots in the next week so hoping to feature 2 soarers in them so should have some cool pictures soon.

I guess if you hang out of the car as Ben said or mount the camera (better option) you would require 0.15sec exposure to show heavy wheel spin blur.
foreground would never be as blurred as it is at 0.15sec. and the car would be not as sharp unless you shot it at 0.125sec while moving

was 2sec exposure. and i sat in the boot with a camera tripod sticking it out as far as i could.

me and a friend are going to build a rig so we can take some cool shots from other angles.

and yeh plenty of photoshop to make it look all sweet.

more to come, tomorrow night. have to do extra post processing on the other images.

With the light shining above all is shown is our hero named "Soarer" he stands there, on his own needing no assistance. Ears confidently propped up and only enough light to show his face and that he is looking right at you. Yes... YOU !! Hes sitting placidly but still sends off a somewhat Volatile feel. Then you hear "You want some of this?" ...... "Then come get it"

does anyone else think the autobarn sticker ruins the pics? It just makes the class of the car drop from Lexus respect, to a Lancer Buzz box...

Unless hes getting paid sponsorship deals, scrap them!

Ben, I doubt Khalid would run an Autobarn sticker just for the sake of it. I don't think it quite equals making such a great car as bad as a lancer though.

Back on topic (what?), great pics. I'd love to get an external mount but they are a bit pricey, the boot solution sounds good though.

yeh that is kinda the point of the photo ben, just like coming out of the darkness

hey guys thanks for the pics, yeah this james guy dont know who he is but he keeps hassling me to go out for a photo shoot so i rocked up in my pink speedos and i said ok i am ready, but the response was "Nah man just give me ya keys i am takin ya car for a photo shoot you crazy bastard." I thought hmmmmmm ok why not, but i said to him its nite man, he replied thats the whole point.... I thought ok this where i shut up...

Greg yes when he said i need to get in the boot i said ok but only after you were a full chemical suit hehehe and nothing else...

Ben; Man i have to have that stiker on my back and rear side windows for 18months as a agreement with my sponsor, yes if i had a choice i would make it different colour or smaller but that is the way the cookie crumbles.
