Christian, we can really do without that sort of carry on. If you try to buy at an auction, you have to be prepared to either bid high enough or lose to someone else that will.

Cant u put your Maximum Bid price so it automatically updates price? If so then u obviously werent prepared to pay whatever for it. Bidding at the last minute and pipped by someone else doing the same thing your trying to( By that i mean getting it the cheapest and beating someone to the post) You got beat at your own game, lol.
And even if it was someone on here that did win it, no point abusing them cause you didnt put a big enough price on it. If you really wanted it, you had the chance, as people always do. But the fact is, everyone wants it as cheap as possible, and Online auctioning can always bite ya back.
Suggestion to all. If your bidding online for something, put your maximum pirce down 1st, then if it gets beaten, you couldnt afford to buy it in the 1st place. Dont be cheap and put $5 more and then lose with 20 seconds to go, then your internet connection isnt fast enough to process your last minute $1 increase. You may lose out on a good product for the sake of $5 or something.
Oh and Christian, things happen for a reason man. Custom = Way better than anything bought. Its made for you Think of it as a good thing.

I always bid in the last couple of seconds, like all smart Ebayers! Otherwise you are just bumping the price up for yourself, and creating more interest in the item. Why would I want to give someone slower, with deeper pockets a chance to come back??

Oh, and I always make that last second bid the most I am willing to pay for the item. If I am then outbid, good for them. I love my 8000kbps Broadband2 connection!!!

I go with the max bid I'm willing to bid right away.. If I can't afford higher, then I shouldnt have been drooling in the first place. The only thing I do with the last minute, I always go and just sit and watch it... if i put a max bid, I'm usually confident it will win.. and I just sit back and watch. But if there is someone out there that wants it bad enough, gaurenteed they will do what they want and need to get it

Well said Katrina. I've been sniped that many times trying to get myself camera or car parts, I just think that it obviously wasn't meant to be.
There are also that many clowns on ebay that obviously don't do their homework... Have seen items that I have put bids on for end up selling for well over (like $100's+) what the item would have cost new
