Had it on the road since wednesday, on sunday it was time to see what she could do.
eastern creek skidpan day, one of the funnest things you can do in your car, highly recommended.
You get from 9-5 in a group of 20 cars which means a lot of track time, you get instructors to help you out if you need it and most importantly you get to let loose in a safe environment.
Tell you what, holding a massive slide over a big 180 degree arc and then linking it up with another is a great feeling, i still can feel the g forces in my mind as if im still on the track.
even with the open diff its still very controllable in the wet and surprisingly enough i found it best when it was left in drive, it would kick down to 1st when the power was put on, it would kick the tail out and then into 2nd so you could modulate the throttle easily to keep the slide going. It did hurt me a bit in the low speed stuff tho and found myself hitting the limiter a couple of times. Even once i found the limiter in 2nd, thought that it was doing a single legger so kept the boot in and turned the wheel a bit, turns out both wheels were spinning at about double the speed i was doing and had one of the quickest 180s i have ever done lol.
anyway, i highly reccomend it to anyone who wants to see what their car can do, for $185 its not cheap but its well and truly worth the cost.

It only does it when I've been the thrashing the crap out of it for a long time, or if it has been idling for a long time, normal city and country driving it doesn't smoke at all... but yes, it is embarassing... I guess I should have chopped that pic and moved the smoke somewhere near the rear tyres
