Hi guys, found these receipts in the spare wheel well of my soarer today, and as you can see one of the receipts is for nearly Y240000...
.
Was just wondering whether anyone has the ability to translate what the receipts are for?

Thanks

I always find it strange that there's English words on Japanese documents. Same with writing inside the Soarer.

Why is that? Why are some words English in the Soarer? Something I've always pondered.

That bottom receipt look like something car-y. Looks like a wheel diagram on the right.

lol, i presume they are both car related, and its also something ive often wondered about.

I think the bottom one may be for the turbo timer as it has the word 'APEX' written on it on nglish handwriting... Otherwise IBFIK what they're on about, lol

I believe all Japanese cars have the majority of their switchgear and whatnot in English because they export to so many markets so standardised on the largest, the English-speaking world. It would cost far too much to change switchgear solely on the basis of language. As every car uses English in Japan one assumes Japanese get to understand the gist of what is printed.

There are some words that can not be translated into kanji... so they have the american symbol/lettering there.
The top one is from 1998.. but the total is around $2015 USD... you sure thats a grocery bill? And the 2nd one is around $1792 USD.. big azz family or need for food LOL

Last receipt says
APEX Tires x 4
ST-007 x 2
Car body <something> x 4
(possibly 4 wheel alignment)

So he changed his tyres, then went to a place called Izumi Inn...
The numbering on the side seems to indicate room numbers and dates. The second first receipt posted is part 2 of 2, the second is 1 of 2.

So, room/table 0201 and 0202 bought some drinks, nothing huge. But then 9002 was possibly for a large group (company??). At the bottom of the second receipt you posted you can see

lodging(adult) x 9 @ 12000yen = 108000yen
Companion x 18 @ 3980yen = 70380yen
^^^ huh!!!?? Seems geishas might have become cheaper since i was last in Japan... :-)

Followed by 15 beers, 3 Uron Cha (tea) and 2 bottles another alcohol which i cant quite read (sake?) on the next page (first receipt you posted)
