Josh what some people seem to forget is that the mods to there car, you might not like or theres is still standard because they look better that way (haha). I wouldnt normally get involved in this but I cant seem to see the part where Josh asked for anyones thoughts. On other forum's you get kicked off for saying anything but nice things. Josh spent his cash (which he worked for)on making his car look like his car and nobody else's. Sorry but that had to be said.

The kit is a veilside front bar, and side skirts. Ken- Yeah mate its nearly finish but it still has a few things to go,stil no interior yet but it should be drivable in about 1-2 months. Lars- Thanks mate, its all cool,at the end of the day i like it and thats all it matters. i have very broad shoulders so i dont really take things to heart easily,so i knew already that these wheels would be the it and bit for most of you since its not a japanese wheel.I dont really like any japanese wheels since they all look the same to me, but when someone buys japanese wheels and puts them on their car, i look at what style they are going for and tell them that it matches and looks good although i dont really like jap wheels much. There are some i do like though. The thing is people say buy a supra or skyline if you want rice, but i love the soarer since its has so much more luxury then the others and look better too. i always want a unique car and something that no ones else has or done so by the end of it i will have a soarer not like everyone else(which there is nothing wrong with that, i like all soarers). So if my car is too much rice for you, just wait a bit since i havent finish yet and it will be even more rice for you.(hahaha)

I have to agree with lars. But at the same time you are entitled to say what you think but be prepaired for a backlash.I too am not a fan of crome rims but that's my thoughts no one else's,And this is an unfinished prodject with his own style.I say "go for it" (That's what moding is all about) And when we see the final product It could be quite nice. Joshua I think what callum means is tyre depth eg:8inch wide.

Oooh Verde wheels. My first set of 20's were Verde but I decided to get rid of them after two days hahaha. Their wheels are too crazy in style for me. It's great that you are enjoying your car though Joshua. And that's all that matters in my opinion.

Yeah, the width of your tyres =P I have chrome wheels on my car, so by default i am not against them. Personally, i think with the right trim they can look very stylish on a Soarer.

No offense Joshua, but out of all the mags ideal for the soarer, your chose those...things.. I just have to agree with some of the others they are completely fugly, they make your soarer just like any of those cheap modified cars out there with that are unpleasant to look at.. Also Not to sure about those side skirt - However only my opinion as Long as you like them thats great

Not wanting to steel Josh's thread but, Sam when I put pics of my car up its for people to see. Maybe they will like some part of my car and also do it. I dont put my pics up for anyone else's opinion. As I said before on other forum's people get suspended or banned for some of the things said in this thread.

What are you talking about? People post pics to be informative AND for feedback. Like you and your rice lights, is that why you are so bitter? A little bit of unwanted negative feedback perhaps. Josh: On your car with it's crazy body kit, gigantic wing and interior bling factor, your rims are very fitting and I can see why you picked em. Good job, can't wait to see em at Calder Cheers, Maurice.

While I don't really see anything worth a suspension in this thread, I am a little surprised at some members expressing their personal views so forcefully. That first pic with the caffeine judder probably doesn't help, but a simple "not to my taste" is sufficient, no need to go any further than that. Or just don't say anything if you don't like them.

I agree peter There is nothing worse than someone bagging your car. This is the way he likes the look of his car,I think we should respect that! After all he has good taste by owning a soarer.

Maurice at the point of cheaking this no one has said anything but nice things about my lights. I'm not bitter at all. I just think its wrong to bag someones pride and joy. I accept as Josh does that my car isnt everones cup of tea. I just think it sets a bad example for new members ,and if I remember back to when I was new to this site it would scare me to post a question or pic incase I was picked on (car was stock back then). Now I realise (with age and mods) that I'm not fussed what others think , but I still dont want my pride and joy to cop what Josh coped. I think Peter got it right, Not my taste or dont say anything. Once again I'm sorry to hijack josh's thread

| I recall some time ago that someone posted up a pic of their car and I wrote that I did not like it. This started a short war between the kitsch tupperware lovers and the cold-eyed plastic-free goons (at least, that was pretty much how they saw each other). After a little while, someone said about the original car "nice" and the original poster was then able to go away happy. People post pics of their cars sometimes to show something, sometimes to challenge and sometimes just to pick up a compliment. Now, this car is definitely not to my taste so I am not providing a compliment in this instance but go for it anyway, Joshua and do not hang back on posting again.
