Well after nearly 2 weeks my Radiator has arrived. Originally I rang PWR in sydney and they said they didn't make a radiator for a 95 Turbo soarer... only a 2002 ?? I didn't think there was a 2002 Turbo soarer. But anyways, got this baby through a small radiator company here in Perth. The guy has been ever so helpful with the process. Its 57mm thick with a heavy duty core and %100 alloy aluminium. Cant wait to get it in the car :-)

I just wanted to replace tho whole unit so I wouldn't have issues with it anymore, I didn't want to go a brand new genuine toyota one as they are costly and an even longer wait so I went with this.

It was $995 to my door.

Wow. Brand new top tanks cost more then $995? What causes them to break most of the time?

I dont know, but I was getting really frustrated with mine... just after installing the dumps and getting the exhaust put on it cracked so I haven't been able to drive it since then. The top tank was so corroded that when I was installing lews pipe kit, tightening up the hose clamp on the radiator caused it to crumble. I figured the rest of the radiator could be as bad so went straight for a new alloy one.

Top tanks cost $300 to replace all up inc labor in, out and fix.

But that doesnt resolve any other issues you may have with crappy fluid causing gunk build up.

For $995 that thing will prolly last for 10years in which the car will either be sold or in a wreckers after a *gulp* crash.

May give it some selling power to the untrained mind as well.
