I know its too late now, but if it looks a bit dodgy like that, you should always, always get the cops to come and take statements from everyone immediately, before they have time to work out a story together.
The driver when the accident occurred has admitted to all liability (by voice, talking to her on the phone today) but her dad (the person as to the car is insured under) didn't know the extent of the damage until I told him tonight. He's getting into contact with me tomorrow with his insurance details.

The waiting game continues. Calling the people up again to hassle them as apparently no claim has been made by the ones at fault (according to their insurer) and they told me I can't claim it, only they can useless bastards.
Guess if they end up doing trying to do the runner I'll have to send off a letter of demand with a quote.
Needless to say that I not planning to drive the Soarer for a very, very long time.
