There's been some really nice Jags in the past and some dogs so it would be nice if the Soarer appreciates in value as much as some of those classic Jags. It has everything going for it apart from Toyota which is a shame.

I had a '63 3.8 MK2 I just sold a couple of months ago. Fantastic car for it's age. No problems with reliability (can't say the same for the '81 SIII I tried to run for a while)
The MK2 does not handle like a modern car of course, but it does have the looks and feel of a classic luxury car.
The XJ is probably what inspired Toyota, very plush car with fantastic ride quality. Only Toyota built a much more reliable beast, sofar at least. How long are all those black boxes everywhere in the Soarer gonna last ? 20yrs ? 30 yrs ? 40 yrs ? When they all start going, the Soarer is going to be a worse nightmare than the Jag SIII

Not bad Ray not bad at all
One day if I get some spare cash i would love to get a series 1 XJ6, put a 350 in it with a massive blower, BLACK/orange-purple pearl paint, with air bag suspension, blood red leather interior and 20inch chromes just to spice it up a bit.
