Looks like I'm the first ALSC member to lose thier car for 48 Hours
Sorry for bringing embarasment and disrepute for other drivers of these great cars.
I am nearly 40 - I feel stupid - Again, Sorry.
So ..... yes, it really does happen - basically I dropped a HUGE whopping burnout coming out of Maccas after having copped smart arse grief from some 16 yo know it all over a $2 happy meal toy. After leaving them with my Blue Smoke Reference all hell broke loose and 45 minutes later the Beast was taken away on a flatbed tow truck.
I can pick the car up on Monday for the sum of $380 storage and towing fee.
I also have to front the local Magistrates Court for Dangerous Driving, EPA Breach, and other miscellaneous charges relating to driving like an arsehole.

when jesus played full back for jerusilam.(don't ask me how to spell that one) i got done for driving un-licenced and the third time was the cruncher, 3 months in Pentridge and it was a wake up call if you ever needed one. Pete Jail is very easy to get into mate you just have to remember Guys that when a judge has said do not drive then don't if you lost you licence on demerit points or forgot to renew it, it is a lesser offence than when the judge has told you DO NOT DRIVE. Juzza; Mate next time you will think about what happened this time. S*&T happens mate take it on the chin

Oh we are all so responsible I paid $770 for a photograph of me beating a motorbike in a race. Queensland police were more then happy to take the picture for me as well as my licence for 6 months Still serving that suspension now actually! I was clocking 138km/h in a 60 zone at 3am in the morning the bike got done at 128km/h same sentence and fine as me BUT I BEAT A MOTORBIKE SO THAT"S ALL THAT MATTERS I'm currently using this six month suspension as an oppurtunity to undertake single turbo conversion, think i've learnt my lesson.....oh yeah

I could imagine the look on your face when they rocked up
The coppers really tried hard to Defect the car, I mean, really went over it - Luckily I had an RWC done only 6 weeks ago. In the end (after giving me serious grief for ages) Senior Sgt says, "How can YOU afford to go Racing and do this car up and buy those expensive semi-slicks; I certainly couldn't afford to do that" ??? Like, I'm dressed in my old jeans, crappy runners and some poxy T-Shirt, but who is HE to judge ME by the way I dress ??? I do what I do well, and get paid well to do it. You ARE what you eat, NOT how you dress.

Sorry to be a dickhead, but I've had my license 5 years and still got 8 points, get all 4 back next year yeah I know... my time will come. hehehe.
But yeah Juzza I know what it feels like to get judged on how you look. 1 day I drove my soarer to work (I work in fiberglass so I have a bunky) and on the way home stopped in to HJ's to get some food and see if my mate was working. the chick served me then went out back to chat to another staff member and I heard her say something along the lines of "look at that bum" mind you I had no shoes on :P but yeah, walked out and her little colleauge came out to have a look then they saw me get in the soarer and the look on their face was priceless. I told my mate also whos the store manager and he gave her a nice verbal kick up the ass. Now everytime I go in there she upgrades my meal for free :P
Talk about being judged... last summer I went to a certain very reputable jewellery store with my gf to look at some diamond earrings (don't laugh!) we happened to have come straight from the beach, on the way back home, so we didn't look posh or anything, just wearing some crappy surf clothes. Anyway, got some up-herself lady serving us, laid all the goods on her little board thingy for us to browse. When my girlfriend said she wanted to look at something else the lady got up and almost proceeded to go and get it, when she stopped and turned around and said "I better take this with me coz you know... hehe" and she took the board thing away WTF!!! I was like nah, ain't getting anything from this store, no way! This has never happened when I come in there straight after work wearing a suit, they always leave the jewellery with you when they go looking for more, so I knew she just judged us for being poor surfies that are probably gonna steal stuff.
She came back, all nice and fake, brought the earings back, and said "By the way I'm Rosetta (or whatever her name was) what are your names, what do you do?" I replied "Yeah I'm Daniel, I'm an accountant for a mining company... I'm sorry but I'm not interested in looking at your goods anymore after the treatment you just gave me" I made sure I said it real loud for everyone in the store to hear too! Left the store straight after!
When I used to work in public practice accounting, we had all sorts of clients, rich and poor. Usually the poorer one came dressed in an Armani suit that he bought with his credit card, and parked his convertible SAAB in the front of the building (that he bought on hire purchase). Then there were the rich ones, who just came in wearing K-mart shirt and boardies, and thongs, who just happen to wear these clothes coz he just stepped off his $5M yacht he bought with his spare cash! Can't judge people just by the way they look, I've learnt it the hard way haha!

HAHAHAHAHAHA Piser.
Juzza, I'm proud of ya mate. Stick it up the bloody coppers even though they're taking your car. Reminds me of the last time I got pulled over, and the time before that, and the ti.....
Next time, Don't pull over. I sure as hell wouldn't if I knew I was driving like an asshole and they were going to take my car.
Surely confiscating you're car without a warrant is some sort of breach of civil rights or something??

damn Juzza. cant believe the cop took your car away from you!!
i've got away from them impounding my car twice and both for doing burnouts from leaving car parks after being stirred up by those damn parking attendants, i think they don't like me . but now, after doing another one when i had a customer in my car, they gave me a whopper fine of $461 and three points which kind of killed my license and now im suspended for 3 months "once" i pay the fine off. hehehe
those cops think they're king shat since they can fine people and impound cars. they even talk on the phone while driving and nothing can be done.
just hope that you don't end up in jail. maybe the judge will give you a slap on the wrist.

Jeezus, and you're alive to tell the tale?
Juzza mate, you just make sure that you have your car and are able to drive it at PI in november, I don't want to have to go all the way over there on your invite and not be able to take pics of you!
Pen, remember when we got done up on the Eagle? If only all cops were as cool as that one...

Back when I was working in a supermarket, I helped out on the front a bit. I asked to check a lady's (bit a stretch calling her that) bag as she walked through. To my surprise she had the same camera as me! I told her so and she responded with... "don't be silly, you can't afford one of those, you're just a checkout chick". To which I replied... "see that white car out there, that's mine! Not to mention the fact that I earn (she didn't need to know that I was getting a HUGE loading that day for coming in on my rdo) $98/hr. Shut her up rather fast
