Hey guys well weather permitting I'll be at WSID HOPEFULLY leave permitting I'll be leaving Bandiana on the 14th October and going home but I need to be back at work on the 20th October so I'll be making a detour on my way back here via WSID to give it another run with full fuel going to the engine and hopefully see what the 200hp can run haha. So is there anyone else interested?? Would love to have a couple of other V8's there to run with umm yeah check the www.wsid.com.au website for more details or email me on mark.northcott@bigpond.com as I now have the net at work which I can only use after hours.

How much is he charging to do that?? we done it in the garage with a single trolley jack and two wheel stands really it's only a couple of bolts and that is really all it is to it, brother would be able to do it alot quicker I can't cause I have no access to tools anymore as I'm on base lol you should have it in and out in a day mate, if not yeah

Haha so true I wouldn't need an excuse any other time but I want to get under Peter Nitschke's time on street tyres lol could be possible I'm thinking. Anyways Daniel I don't suppose you would have a helmet I could borrow for that night? Only reason I ask is I won't be going back home I'll be going down to my Barracks which is Victoria. This is provided I get leave, and no one else from Newcastle comes down with me who can take it back. That goes for anyone else who is able to make it my head size is about a medium. Thanks guys

Daniel T... what time were you there? I was there very early competing in Autosalon Magazine's Street Car of the Year competition. Didn't see you though I did manage to see Daniel C very briefly, but had a lot of things on my mind as we were all in competition mode.

Daniel: You must have arrived when I was leaving then... had a very long day of testing so left right after the Autosalon event. Lew: Ran a 13.2 sideways down the track Semi slicks still weren't enough to put the power to the ground. Will have to investigate installing V8 rear discs & calipers on the rear for drags so I can put on some 15" drag slicks. Supra rear brakes are really limiting my tyre choice (17" or greater). Vinh: Lost out to an R32 GT-R with 300kW at all four, and a 530kW Supra in the drag testing

Simon, there are quite alot of 17 inch slicks on the market.... Check em out before ya start changing bits and pieces. There was an Xr6T couple weeks back. Putting 387kw @ wheels on 17 inch Mickey Thompson ET streets. 275 wide on 17 inch wheels. They help up pretty good. They ran 11.2 @ 121mph with those.

Close... 123mph, which is really indicative of a mid to high 10 second pass with the current weight of my car and power output.
