Lucky for us RBT stations don't pick on us for our mods. I'd be in deep if I was going to get pulled over, but I'm fixing everything up soon :-)

I knew it was your car too mate. Didn't think there was any other purple Soarer with that rear!

Serious? What KM's you at? I'm going to do my major service since I'm at 80,000KMs. Gonna do the timing belt as well since you need to take it off to get to the water pump. I hate it when everything just comes at once :-(

Vinh, My car has 136,000 km's on it. Also noticed the timing belt has NOT been done before, so lucky for me i guess. That's getting replaced as well. Also getting the Coolant bypass done for the throttlebody while its empty.

Duy... They came with the Car when i bought it. Yes it used to have a CB aerial on the drivers side bootlid. Not anymore :-) I have owned it since March this year. A guy from up at Newcastle used to own it.

Coolant is piped through the throttle body to allow for warming in freezing winters - which then aids fuel vaporisation and the engine runs better.

Not having freezing winters, it just adds a bit more unwanted heat. Whether a bypass is actually significant once the engine bay warms up I have no idea.

This Coolant Bypass mod has been carried out on Fuel Injected Mustangs since 1988. Most tuners say Taking away any unwanted heating devices in the engine bay is a good thing. The throttle body should remain under the 82 deg thermostat temperature. Even if only by 10 degrees, it all adds up in the long run i guess.

I'm doing it cause i can:-)

New water pump, Timing belt, Tensioner Bearing for timing belt, and also Idler pulley(bearing?). Coolant Bypass on throttle body. All ready to roll Niall says.

Bring on WSID, some nice cold air, and some new 12 sec passes:-)
