yesterday arvo around 1630 saw a white soarer with gold rims on the main drag in Qbn, looked real good. This morning around 0715, black TT (?) coming out of Jerra and this arvo was behind a green V8 (?) coming into Jerra. this morning, a guy told me that he didn't think I was the type to be driving such a car but gave her a very nice compliment. Makes me wonder though, what 'type' of car do I look like I should be in. |

Kate.....The black TT is actually a single turbo owned by a guy called Miles. Never seen him at a meet but he knows about the club and he's a nice guy. His daughter used to go to day care with Rachel. We've met him a number of times. It's a very nice car though and goes hard. |

Yep. Nice black one. I think he gets it serviced in Mitchell. Might be at Trojan. Looks to be a 94-96 model judging from the taillights (which I'm sure he hasn't swapped). He's had it for ages. |

I see soarer's around all the time i just don't bother reporting it as most of the people are not club members and a not very friendly.
There is a guy here in north canberra who just gives me dirty looks... I can't help it if he drives a V8 and he wants my car! haha |

Yes, the black one is a Trojan car. Very similar spec to Johnnys old white one if that's the car. |

I thought it was Miles, but his exhaust was not the normal gleaming chrome I am used to seeing.

great idea Tim, Only place I can think of right now is The Deck. It overlooks lake burley griffin and has outdoor seating, it is near commonwealth park, nice food. |
