Sorry RTA want to inspect my Soarer and can not get rego until the 7th Sep after the inspection. So looks like I have to sit this one out.

Benny, Jason Kingsmill and I are planning on meeting you and Bruce at Sutton Forrest McDonalds, however I am not exactly sure where it is. (I know it is on the Hume Hwy)I am going to shoot you an email with my phone number, so if we are not there by 9am give me a call and I will advise how far away we are, or if we have no idea of where we are going. By the way, do you know how to get to the meeting point at Canberra?

Mick, you will pass under an overpass signposted to Moss Vale, Robertson, possibly Kiama and Wollongong. That is Sutton Forest. The relevant Maccas is around the next couple of corners. It is actually on the right hand side of the road. Take an overpass to reach it.
Did I get that right Bruce or have I mixed up two places? When I travel to Sydney they all just glide by, landmarks you notice without seeing. The overpass is memorable for the time you mention; when I pass it going South, I am 1.5 hours from home.
I will be waiting at the shell servo on the south bound lane. The mac's is on the other side north heading. (connected by an overpass) Anyone coming from sydney side, sutton forest servos are 2 km after the Illawarra highway overpass. The best place to gather is on the south heading side. I will wait in the car park just south of the servo. (opposite side to Mac's) By the way this servo takes coles 4 cents off tickets maybe a good place to refill???
Washed the car this arvo and took it for a short run and have now discovered a major fluid leak from the steering box. (like at 10 pm) Power steering fluid is running out from the back of the steering box. Start the motor and its like turning on a tap. There goes tomorrow. Will be working on the car tomorrow, hope everyone has a great day. So Mick + I will not be at Sutton Forest servo in the morning, sorry.

Bruce, sorry to hear the bad news. Hope it's not too painful to fix. I guess it's better that it happened aroud home rather than 200kms away though.
Benny, you can handle it. I got to bed at 6.30 this morning. Got up at 8am and washed the car. Have some V8 veg.juice and a Berrocccca. It's magic stuff. Then again, guess you've got a few more years on me hey mate.

This would be all over by now but I actually send an SMS to Mick to say I wasn't coming. I think he probably hooked up with Jason.
Sam, I have more than 3 hours drive before I even get there. I was not concerned about the drive down and the cruise but the drive home. I don't like driving in the dark when I'm over-tired. It's just too dangerous.
