Guy's! This is the email I recieved today from Western Sydney International Dragway. Hi Jeff Thank you for your enquiry. The basic information regarding Staging Lane Hire during Off-Street meetings at WSID is as follows: Limited to a maximum of 20 cars Competitor entry fee $45 Second driver entry fee $35 P-plate drivers permitted L-plate drivers not permitted Maximum two (2) crew members permitted per vehicle at $15 each ($20 on Friday nights if running) Spectator entry fee $15 ($20 on Friday nights if running) All vehicles required to be scrutineered While being scrutineered, a specific staging lane number is marked on the top RH corner of windscreen (this enables staging lane officials to keep your group together and in the correct staging lane) An identifying window sticker is applied to each vehicle’s windscreen so officials recognise you as a club member or specific group Drivers requirements are: Ø Current driver’s licence or proof that they have previously held a full civil driver’s licence Ø Proof of identification (usually just the current driver’s licence) Ø Long pants (jeans for example – not nylon track suit pants) Ø Long sleeves (sloppy joe, jacket or similar) Ø Fully enclosed shoes Ø Approved helmet (bearing Australian Standard 1698 1974/1988) Ø Also… remember to bring a pen to complete your entry form Competitor Gate opens 4:30pm (5:00pm Friday if running) Spectator Gate opens 5:30pm Racing from 6:00pm – 10:00pm (7:00pm to midnight Friday if running). Procedure Where possible, your members should arrange to try and arrive at WSID together as a group Queue at Competitor Gate pending opening time Pay competitor entry fee and receive event entry form Drive into pit/paddock area and select an area where you can all pit together as a group Complete entry forms while in the pit/paddock area Walk to Credentials (in Scrutineering building) with completed entry form, competitor ticket and driver’s licence Credentials officials will check your paperwork and licence, cancel your ticket, help you sign the indemnities and issue the appropriate wristband Once processed through Credentials, return to your vehicle and slowly drive it around to the Scrutineering building Scrutineers will check for general roadworthiness of vehicle (steering, brakes, tyres, no fluid leaks, and so on) Scrutineers will affix a lap sticker to he bottom RH-side of your windscreen, plus write your temporary race number and staging lane number on the vehicle Now you slowly drive out of Scrutineering, down the pit/paddock access road and join the end of your assigned staging lane ahead of a start to your night’s racing. ANDRA Licence requirements Any driver quicker than 11.999-seconds over the quarter-mile must hold an ANDRA Super Street Licence as a minimum General requirements Vehicles do not have to be registered but must be in roadworthy condition and meet all scrutineering requirements to race If quicker than 12.999-seconds over the quarter-mile must have a tailshaft loop Must have full and operational muffler system Must have a minimum lap-sash (3-point) seat belt Containment device to catch any potential overflow from radiator. As you can see we need 20 cars before we can enter as a club. If you are interested enter name in the list below. 1.Jeff smith

I didn't read that properly aswell,I thought it was a minimum. If we get the numbers 1st then I will talk to WSID and see what they can do.

The only reason I can think of is that we are NOT hiring the track so they have to allow for other cars. But I would say that If we had the numbers they woulden't nock us back.At $45 plus pit crew at $15-$20 depending the night,Then times that by 20 plus, turns out to be a good figure. So I can't see why this will be a problem.

I am in regardless its wednesday night or friday night. But prefer Friday nights. Late feb or march would be better i think. By that time the temp would've dropped a bit more.
