I have a mate with a SR20DET powered 180SX and another with a 2001 Integra Type R who want to see what their cars pull? They obviously wont be eligible to win anything, not that they would have a chance anyways! hehehehe. |

| well last time that ford came and joined in. Personally i think it'll kinda defeat the purpose of having a soarer dyno day if there are non soarers there. Greg's celsior is excepted because its technically a four door soarer |

| It's OK I recon, just let them join and we'll show them what they have wasted their $15,000 on in every way (looks, power, luxury, style ;) ). If they are wise, they will get a Soarer after. The integra would be more than $15K I guess...hehehe, and what can that FWD NA 4cyl "SWOF" mobile do? |

| They can have a "Homo 4CYL" class all to theirselves. Freeman, the 2001 Integra Type R's are about 23K+ for a good one. |

| I don't see a problem with other cars running, just as long as they know they can't have a trophy or be listed in the results.

Probly more than a RWD NA 8cyl can. |

| Tim, Cihan has been on a 2 week long 'Man trip' in Queensland, he gets back tonight, so I'll tell him to get his ass into gear so we can hopefully have a date by early next week. Cheers. |

A Type R would equal or shame an active through the hills... They weigh in at 1080kg and handle so well it's scary. | OK, I used to have a Mx-5 clubman weighing 900kg, with Bilstein suspension, whiteline sway bars and strut braces, Torsen LSD and short shift close ratio box. It could out corner my friend's '04 wrx with a 4 wheel drift. It was fun! (around corners only.) However....after owning it for 6 months or less, I came to a conclusion that it is absolutely gutless in a straight line! Drop 2 gears and floor it, I was bearly making an overtaking move.... Fair enough it could perform some crazy cornering maneouvers with outstanding side G's, (so high that you ran out of guts before it ran out of grip) but how many of our roads are like Great Ocean Rd with hairpins all the way? Of course, owning 2 TT soarers before this car set my benchmark too regarding power, looks, and style when considering its price tag. |

| I'm back! We will have a set date this week, promised! Aiming for mid to late january, i believe its an ideal time period for financial recovery after the festive season. Aiming for $40, 2-4 runs, two classes with two outright power trophies and orginising a BBQ! Any volunteers for helping with the BBQ, please make yourselves known! Cheers, Cihan. |

LOL! A Type R would absolutely thump an active in a straight line too... They run a high 14 sec 1/4 in standard trim. I have been in both an active and the Type R and I can tell you that it's not some p1ssy girly integra. Go in one, open your eyes and you will see the light, my son. |

| YEp have driven one and love the close ratio gearbox. It rocks....Have also driven an S2000 very similar except it has more top end power, so don't underestimate these little honda's |

| They are a good little package but they don't have the high speed stability, I have driven a s2k and I found although at first good a bit unstable. I cant explain it but there was something wrong with it not sure what exact but it just wasn't right when you started to push it a bit. Either way it would be a fun challenge, as a guess I would have to say that an Active would have the edge at speed where the hondas would have the edge around the city streets. |
