I was thinking of investing in an E-Manage Ultimate for now, and then just get it re-tuned in the future when I replace my turbos. The modification path just seems longer and longer to me these days!

Sure did and it seems like top end has a bit more go then before. But it seems to boost a little less on bottom end now. Will call you later on to fill you in on the details.

Blue Skies and a Top Temp of 30 degrees. Air temp should back down to 18-22 by tonight though. Awsome weather for Drag Racing. I have been hanging since November to race. See you all there! Lets hope we all break some records tonight fella's. Cheers

Was testing last night some stall ups using the new transmission controller and it works a bit differently to the standard ECU. I can stall to 3200rpm pretty quickly now and at which point, rear wheels start to just turn over, no matter how hard I press the brake. This has me a bit worried as I was hoping I could stall to 4000rpm hard on the brake before letting it rip. I might be playing around with settings for my first few runs, and out in the car park. The stall convertor lockup works however under wot, so should see a bit higher MPH.

Try using handbrake as well. With your M/Ts they should be harder to turn over at the track. So what time you heading out there?

Vinh just go to any bike shop and buy a cheap helmet. You will only need it for 15sec max at a time. Cheap helmets with australian standards are around $50-70 mark. Think of it as future investment if you plan on doing more WSID runs.

There more, about 110 bucks. Open face is cheaper, but I wouldn't use it in a car as I have heard some nasty stories of how little they protect you in an accident.
