OK it's time to organise another Cruise for those with the right stuff ie a Soarer/Celsior........April 15th LOVELY Autumn weather, I'll set up the route and directions. We could meet at the same place as last time ie the car park of the Victoria Park races on Fullarton Road at 11am for a 11.30 start off.This is heaps of notice guys and girls so you should be able to schedule a way there, put it in your diary. Lunch at Mannum via a twisty route through the hills and then a quiet and slow(WHAT?!??)trip back via the freeway. This time points will be deducted for those who throw up in the car in the way up (or down!)no extra points are gained by hitting anyone but perhaps we can find a prize for the best sounding car on the day....probably be a V8 (only probably)
I will make sure the pub has room for all those who register with me before we go. Keep watching this space  |

Thanks Pen, I'll have you know my Celsior can do almost 40kph up Gorge road these days......I've learnt how to take the hand brake off!!!! |

On ya' Craig and Tamatha, by the way Craig perhaps you could tell us in advance the address of where you might be demolishing and we'll drive past on the cruise and get some of the ladies to try parallel parking practice......it could help!! |

Don't even know what to say to that - other than cheaper insurance for women as it's a proven fact that we ARE better drivers. |

Actually I had my tongue firmly planted in my cheek on this, but as a serious note, the insurance rates do not in fact reflect that. What they reflect is that women drivers on the whole do less kilometres and therefore have less accidents. Male drivers have less accidents per 100,000 k's than women. Unfortunately the good news for men stops here, for while they have less prangs overall per kilometre they are far more likely to have a serious bang which involves injuries and legal liability. In other words more likely to be their fault!!!! However they can generally parallel park better!!! |
