Got an email from Unigroup - Just to let you guys know... most dyno days at various places will simply drive car on the rollers and allow 1 boost change between runs quickly then off.
Uni-group are happy to allow for the owner of the car to make adjustments themselves to see different results between the 3 runs. However if you would like uni-group to make changes then it may incurr a small fee, i remember last dyno day - they guys tweaked a bit with an ecu and gained 5kw - 10kw within a few minutes.
extract from the email .... "we're happy to wait a little longer between runs as long as you guys are. However if you'd like us to make the small adjustments than it would be a little extra per car as we've discussed.
They are keen to keep the Soarer dyno days hosted with them - so will like to keep everyone happy!

All those on the dyno list - we have encounterd a problem - just received a call from Yavuz at UniGroup and have been told that the 24th March is going to be a problem due to short staffed - some of his staff has called off for that day - which they all confirmed their availability for that day when i booked in the 24th March (its also voting weekend as well - not so sure if thats got anything to do with it) he requires about 2 - 3 experienced staff for the dyno day which have called off for that weekend. So he was hoping if its not too much problem to hold it the week after which is the 31st March?
He appologises for any inconvenience and is frustrated for the problems as he had that date confirmed with the staff already.
Is everyone on the list good for the 31st March?

I'm serious about this i wasn't kidding... We booked, they get the fuc*en staff!
There are people from out of state and others that have taken time off work to be at this. Also i have other things on in sydney that weekend that i planed around this event, and there is no way i'm driving up again the weekend after for a dyno day that was booked over a month in advance!
Sure we may have 26 people now! But we change the weekend and i say fu*k it we don't bother going and just do a night time cruise!
There we go i have said my stuff... Who is with me?

I will speak to John from UAS about the 24th sometime this week!
Im sure he would love the day at their New Workshop!
I agree. We booked. People have organised to do nothing else on the day. If they dont want the work or the money, lets spend it somewhere that will happily cater for the event!
Will update this ASAP!

Well I just got off the blower with Hills Motorsports, he can do it the week before or after without a problem but on the 24th he also has commitments.
Will also have the same setup as unigroup with the screen and dyno charts, but is a little more expensive at $66 for 3 dyno runs, will also provide BBQ as well for that price, if you guys are keen, let me know so I can organise this with them.

Ok I have just received a call from Uni-Group
They would like me to issue this message
UniGroup would like to appologise to all members of ALSC who have put their names down for the DynoDay on the 24th March due to issues beyond their control. They are still unable to host the dyno day on the 24th March - but can do so on a different date. They did not all of a sudden decide to change their mind at a last minute resort - as mentioned it was beyond their control and believe to have given plenty of notice for this matter, they understand that the day was booked and people have made plans - to show their genuine interest for the ALSC members on the list UniGroup would like to offer all ALSC members on the LIST ONLY for a free power run any time up until the 24th March.
---applicable to the following: ----- 1. Jeff Smith 2. Richard 3. Daniel Clarke 4. Steven Nanevski 5. Shane McInnes 6. Sam Briggs 7. Jan Christiansson 8. Aka Abedin 9. Trevor Tai 10. Ryan McDonough 11. Ben Lipman 12. Doug Jardine 13. Tim Eacott 14. Adam D'Amato 15. Daniel D'Amato 16. Steven Anderson 17. Benny Gammelmark 18. Paul Irwin (Tentative) 19. Colin Kirkpatrick 20. Richard (friend - Commodore SS) 26. Richard (friend - JZX100 Chaser)
If you would like to take up this offer please contact UniGroup directly (9631 2470) and speak to Yavuz to make a booking - mentioned you are from ALSC - for the planned dyno day on the 24th and he will give you a free run.
If anyone has any issue concerning UniGroup please contact UniGroup directly, there is no need to bitch about them here.

I may be goin the week after (31st March)with a few mates to Unigroup - as they needed some slight tweeking on the ECU's and not just straight power runs. If anyone is interested please PM me Please note that this will only be a small group.
Otherwise..Steven I will hand over the organising of this dyno day to you, as UniGroup are unable to hold it on the 24th March - but are happy to compensate with a free run till that date.
