Alright guys so what do we do??
I guess we have a couple of options
1. Reschedule with Unigroup for another date
2. I can organise 1 at Hills Motorsports again at a different date
3. Call John at UAS to see if he can organise it for the 24th.
Lets get some options and opinions guys.
Richard, a thank you goes out for organising this in the first place, great work but its ashame what has happened, I appreciate your work anyway.  |

Yeh - its just something they couldnt prevent... If it has to be the 24th there are other workshops that have dyno's which i am sure many of us have contacts with.
UniGroup mentioned the week before or after is fine. If we do decide to reschedule with UniGroup I can see if he is willing to give us even a better pricing to compensate for the unfortunate events - but up to everyone? |

I dont mind Unigroup, and if it's only staffing problems, I have done work on the dyno with Yavuz when I was with the Silvia guys, so more than happy to offer my own services.
I might head over and speak to Yavuz myself, get a free power run, but worst case, if we can change things, we cant change things.
I say stick with him, if we are doing all the other Dyno runs with him, do this one as well, because then they are all comparable.

Well lets make a new list with preferences, either way, doesn't bother me, but for those who want it at UAS, whoever knows John can you please contact him ASAP to see if he will do it for us, I personally do not know him, but it looks like alot of other members know him quite well.

My Opinion: If we ar doing a Dyno day with 2 groups at Unigroup, the other group going elsewhere would not be under the same controlled conditions, therefore the comparisons would be flawed some-what.
It's better to run the 3rd group with Unigroup like the others.

I will commit when you have finally found out where and when. This is a bit silly. Just organise it. Date doesn't really matter.
I will say however that if anyone is going to have their cars tuned at the same time I'm out. I couldn't be bothered standing around looking at that (like last time). |

Tomorrow i will find out what i can organise with Unigroup for available dates - have been told the week after is should be ok.

Oki.... another update:
Had a quick chat to UniGroup. The 31st is currently free with them - he will confirm within the next day or so with his staff to see how they are currently for that date. I have also asked in regards to what deal they can do for us ,as it currently stands he has offered the members who signed up for the 24th for a free run individually (to be booked in with them). But if we were to run it on the 31st he will see what other deal he can do for us as a group instead of the free run he has offered on an individual basis. i.e he can only offer 1 "special" deal for us and not both.
Again will update when i get notification.
Currently I have not booked anything as yet - awaiting a group decision here on ALSC + UniGroup confirmation. |

So are most people gonna be hanging around for the whole time while everyones car gets dynoed. Then go for a cruise?
Or are people going to be Getting their car run, and then taking off? |

All,
Date is definitly confirmed and booked for the 31st at Unigroup.
After crunching a few numbers. The price will remain as is at $50 including projector hire due to the overhead costs involved and running on a weekend.
However the offer of the free run before the 24th March will remain for the members on the list previously - but will require to be booked in advance with Unigroup. |
