Yep, 2nd gear was very effective in that run. Think I'd given up and grabbed 3rd by about....oh, I dont know, the 100' mark

That was a 15.1 sec, 2.537 sec 60', trap speed of 105.14mph

Gate sounds alright though.

Sounds like ill have to do another run sometime now that i have a new battery; i did the 13.1run when the car wasnt giving its best on the dyno.
Since the new battery i broke 300rwhp.. perhaps 12's is on the cards.

As we discussed before it probably wasn't your battery, more likely the trans and all the other stuff you have done since you last dyno'd it.

Dyno results are subjective at best.

Thats like saying I gained 12hp cause I cleaned my front windscreen.... I went on 2 dyno's and one read 341hp and the other 353hp, all I did was clean my windscreen! Honest!

It definitely wasn't because it was a different day in different conditions!

I've seen one of these solar cell things in Kmart you put on the roof or whatever and plug it into your cigarette lighter plug, and it is meant to keep your battery charged or something... any one know how much extra horsepower you'd get driving around with it plugged in???

Phil, to answer your question at the 6sec mark of that clip - I fitted the Teins, then decided to firm up the spring preloads as well as stiffen the dampening adjustment. More preload had the effect of jacking the car up a bit, which became more notcieable on the (lighter) back end. Just havent gotten around to adjusting the height back down.

So she's currently riding at "high seas/Sydney-to-Hobart" spec :-)
