Is anyone staying the night in the hunter valley? Me and the girlfriend plan to get trashed at one of the local vineyards and stay the night. Any recommendations for that places that do 1 night min stay?

Maybe, just maybe, you should go for a test run this weekend(anytime before next Saturday) if you have time. I know this is what some of the other guys have done when organising cruises. And imagine you have 20 cars following.

Ryan,
I'm there for the social event and to meet members in the flesh. I spent 6 months in the sin bin last time I went for a 'spirited drive' I don't mind the whole cruise thing. I enjoyed the last one, but if there is too much "anti social behaviour" I for one am outta there. I have only been on one ALSC cruise and it was a well behaved rolling get together with only one fella attracting the crabs and unfortunately finding himself dealt with by the fuzz.
I would suggest the route is really better staying off major roads. The freeway is probably your best and quickest way of getting to the hunter valley. Closer to Harrigans there are plenty of places to pull over for photo ops etc.

I reckon we all think we own exceptional cars but to get into HPI etc these days your car has to be a rolling defect magnet.
