OK while I'm all enthusiastic and stuff.
I'm thinking we should try and beat the WA record for the most Soarers in attendance at a single location. I think this was like 20 at the dyno day in 2005?
So my idea is to set a date for a couple of months in advance and have a big day of Soarer related action. Possibly some dyno action, or maybe AHG.
Thoughts? |

I was thinking the same thing last night Luke.
Then I remenbered I'm a lazy forgetfull bastard.
Sounds good though, I up for it, I dont think AHG do strippers though? |

Another AHG day like the last one we had doesnt interest me though. Might come for a gander. |

Phil, seeing as Norberts canned his TrackAttack for this month, I've been left with a "spare" 80 bucks burning a hole in my wallet...so I'll see ya there. More slide practice, yay!! It's amazing how some small tweaks to suspension, such as rear dampening, can make such a huge difference in the amount of feel of the car. I got a thumbs up on my "controlled slidage" from Franz at the RMS day a couple of weeks ago 
Mel - "AHG" is the AHG driver training centre out near the airport - they run skidpan/MC days, you negotiate a few different courses defined by cones. Each run generally only lasts somewhere under the 60sec mark, so its not that taxing on your car/tires/brakes, you can go as hard as you wish, and there are instructors there to give you pointers on your steering, throttle control, car setup, whatever. Highly recommended!! And in my honest opinion a lot less harsh on the car than a night at the drags - once you're in second gear it pretty much stays there.

Actually the biggest soarer event in WA was 28 soarers at a night cruise back in 2004.

Ben - you need to supply a drivers licence number...but i dont know if the licence has to be valid. I would assume its required for 3rd party damage-only insurance purposes, just like on the street.
