I'm so sorry but I've put my name down a few times for cruises but never rocked up, I always REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to go but something always comes up like; work or i sleep in or something like that. So I want to put my name down, but don't get too upset if i don't show  and I'd REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go this time. |

I have received final approval from our company CEO to use the Epi Centre Parking lot (Private Property) located at the Anglesea Road and Princes Hwy roundabout in Waurn Ponds past Geelong. Meeting there will avoid any official interference (if you know what I mean), and it has plenty of room to gather without having to compete for parking like you would at Eastern Beach in Geelong. (See Pic - top of this page)
I could be there to open the gates around 9:30am giving everyone a chance to have a chat as you arrive, then we could leave by 10:30 to head to Apollo Bay. We could be there not too far into lunch. (does anyone know of a good place in Apollo Bay and if we are going to a place or three, for lunch, might be a good idea to let them know we are arriving?)
Between 8 and 9:30am, smaller groups could still meet at various meeting points along the way before heading down to the Epi Centre and the beginning of the Great Ocean Road.
If some of you wanted to post where you will be at a certain time to gather the herds and what time you will be leaving that checkpoint, before coming to EpiCentre, Waurn Ponds, then all drivers can decide if and where they wish to meet up with you.
What do you all think?

I will be having 4-5 cars meeting at my house and leaving ballarat and meet everyone at the Epi Centre. |

As I have no idea how to get to the Epi Centre. |

I only have edition 30 of Melways and it's on Map 464 J7.
It's really hard to miss if you are travelling on Princes Hwy, Colac Road, (whatever you want to call it) M1 coming from Melbourne, ends at the roundabout at Anglesea Road after you go thru Geelong. The Epi Centre is in far side fork of the roundabout after you go thru it. The M1 is on the north side and Anglesea road is on the south side. The parking lot is in between the two roads.
It would be about an hours drive from the shell servo at west gate. If you were going to get there before 10:30 you would need to leave there by 9:30am. |

Well looks like me and Daniel are the ones meeting up at Shell/KFC Servo on the West Gate Freeway Geelong bound.
Anybody else welcome to join...must be there by 9am sharp...its 78.03km's and according to whereis.com will take us roughly 54mins, based on fastest time...so please make sure you're on time

Yeah, i agree, SouthEastern people should meet up at the West Gate Shell place, it's better we go together than scattered in groups.

Sounds good Daniel, although i think leaving at 930 will be a little late as the flock is going to be leaving the Epi Centre at 1030am, so we need some leeway just incase of traffic.
I say maybe get to the servo by 830 and leave by 9am latest...what do you think?? |
