Great weather, very accommodating venue, dismal turn out. Those that made it had a good time I think.
I feel sorry for Ryan who put in the leg work to get this off the ground (including an exclusive roped off carpark) but got such a poor turn out. I appreciated it Mate.

Why are the small cruises always the nicest? I really enjoyed the day.

I think from now on I will not sign up for any cruise before at least half the people have canceled. Mucha betterer that way  |

If you check the history of some of us,You will find that we have just abought gone to most cruises.I might be over reacting but this was not needed.As you can see I'm in a sad state due to my mates outcome. |

Jeff mate, sorry to here. I know we spoke about this not too long ago, but its hard when the time comes, my thoughts are with you and all those close.
I also, only just got my car back on the road late friday. The last thing i wanted was to be 150km's from home and find a leaking oil line or coolant line somewhere.
I love going on cruises And look forward to the next one. |

I am very sorry to hear about your situation and you and all those concerned have my condolences and will be in my thoughts tonight.
The fact was it was a dismal turn out. The theme of my post was hoping the organiser is not put off in future.

Ben no real offence taken ,I was only stating that things happen that cannot be avoided and most of us don't have intensions to not turn up on cruise's.Statements like that are miss read and would be better of not said.I know it's very frustrating when you go out and organise a nice cruise and so little turn up.This I would have loved to come along as there is some nice driving roads and a good feed at that winery(Good memories on a previous cruise that was held there)Also that cruise with a previous member known as "DI" or "Daina Smith"(My mother) Introduced me to the humble soarer and the gang formally and still known as ALSC members.This cruise made me go out and buy a soarer.My reaction to your statement was harsh,And I'm sorry to jump down your throught.I was only speaking as a hole not just me. |

I agree with you Jeff. Sometimes something comes up which cant be avoided.
There is a few of us turns up at most cruises even if bad weather is expected. Anyways catch you guys all at the next one. |
