OK I asked for dates from AHG and got a reply.
What I need now is expressions of interest.
For those who don't know these are basically fun days where you speed around a bunch of cones on a big pit of pavement. You will learn a lot about your driving. The days are non-competitive, it's all about fun.
Please add your name to the list if you are genuinely interested. At this stage July 7 is available so I will try and get this date.

I'm gonna put my name down at this point...BUT if I dont have the car back on the road by the weekend before or something then I will look into organising someone else to take my spot, or another car (Pauls Soarer perhaps  ), or something.
And its now gone to $75 as standard, with a helmet required.

Cant hire one. Just has to be any ADR approved helmet. If you're literally only going to use it for AHG days, just go to cashies or a motorbike place and buy a second-hand one for 50-100 bucks.
Worst case scenario we kinda share however many helmets we have there on the day between the group.
Josh, to answer your question regarding times, the morning session is 9-12.30ish and the arvo session 1-4.30ish. |

Jimmy, I bought a brand new helmet with a visor (not that you need it) for $109 bucks, from a motorcycle shop in Vic Park. Just go to one and ask for the cheapest they got, you should be able to squeeze in under a 100 bucks.
There was also a brand new helmet on sale for 60 bucks there too, except it was pinkish colour... was tempted to grab it and bullsh|t that it's my sister's but everyone knows I don't have a sister  |

Hmmmm, by all means you can use my sister. I'm happy to share her with all of you guys. Her name is Palmela. You've most likely met her before too. So go say hi to Palmela in your private moment. You can shake my hand in appreciation later, just give Palmela a good wash beforehand k?
