Gday guys,
As it says, I'm kinda looking for some work, and I'm hoping those of you with office contacts may be able to help me out.
First up, I'm in the final 18 months of my PhD, and I'm on a scholarship - the requirements of which stipulate I'm only allowed to work a max of 12 hours or something between 9-5 weekdays (they regard the funding as paying me fulltime to study fulltime, and yes, my supervisor is a hard-ass on it). So I'm kinda stuck when it comes to finding part-time work, and have basically just been doing the whole hospitality/catering/freelance barwork thing, but working every Thurs, Fri, Sat night and Sundays has finally got to me.
Just wondering if any of you guys work somewhere that would be in need of some data entry work, or a weekend specialist (I can do most Saturdays - have a couple of hockey games this season Sat arvos before 5pm). Ideally I'm looking for some work I can do maybe a half-day during the week, or maybe Monday/Wednesday evenings, and then Saturdays - something along the data-entry/admin/filing line, either part-time or on timesheets or something. Only need an extra 10-15 hours ($200-250) per week.
I've worked fulltime in an office before, and a major component of my PhD involves using Excel, stats packages, programming/modelling software, etc - so I'm good with computers etc. Otherwise I'm also fit, willing to work, have half a brain when it comes to tools/workshops, and have my manual license, etc if you may have some other work you think I could be useful for. I also have an ABN set up if that would make things easier.
Any suggestions, PM me, or give me a buzz on 0414 306 366.

Good on you for having the mettle to stick out your Phd. Bloody hell, i know as soon as im finished uni - i want to get the hell out of there!
But i know its not what you were asking for - but i thought i may as well throw it in anyway. Im pretty sure i can get you a job at Myer if you want. They are always asking the staff 'if you know anyone who wants a job - send them in' it will be at garden city though.

OK, have hit desperation stakes again.
Really, REALLY need some work. Particularly weekday evenings, or weekends. My only weekend commitments are a hockey game once a week, and I have my fixtures for the rest of the season so can let you know in advance. Basically I can give you a full Saturday and Sunday during the day.
Anyone need someone for office work, menial work, shelf-stacking, coffee-making, etc etc etc - please, email me ferret_tc@hotmail.com or give me a buzz on 0414 306 366.
Likewise, if anyone wants their car detailed, please see me, tho I realise the weather at the moment is not so conducive to getting your car washed and polished.
