hi guys,

im new to the soarer world so just wondering if you had any suggestions of where i could go to get my exhaust system done? if mufflers were just put on would i lose performance???

I shouldnt think you would lose any performance.

Just dont go for the loud droney and generally fsking annoying things that ricers tend to go for.

My exhaust is lovely and quiet (4x mufflers by the way) and my car seems to be on par power wise for the mods that it has.

In my experience...

twin 2.5" pipes with twin Magnaflow Race-spec mufflers don't drone, are quiet, and support 350+rwhp.

Cheers, Kurt. That pic is well old though. I ripped the sticker off shortly after I bought the car. Fibrevision installed the Bomex kit for the previous owner and they put that windscreen sticker on for him.

FMIC and zorst were installed when I bought the car. But rebuilt the turbos with steel wheels, installed boost controller and new clutch. Replaced the suspension because it was only 100mm from the ground and completely impractical. Interior was a mess so I gutted that as well with new parts (Isotta wheel/shifter/shifter boot and door trims etc.)

sounds like a bit of work! where'd you get your fmic from? price? I was looking at getting a kit from just jap for $345 delivered and i also need to get my exhaust done...the only place so far that I have got a qoute from is mettams mufflers..you have a clue if thats good or not?
