hey guys it was pretty good considering it was my first autosalon...like dev said, i followed him there....also saw about 6 different soarers on the way there and back....3 at the convention centre parking and 3 at carousel, 1 of which a lady with her husband,i gave a thumbs up to...dont know if that was anyone here though...hehehe |

There were 2 old school soarers down in the back corner - a few 1JZs and 2JZs floating around though, in some different chassis....

The C-Red 1JZ looked like it will be a monster, anyone know what it will pull on the dyno?
I don't mind going to Auto Salon each year, always lets you see the current trends, what looks good, what looks bad. Gives me ideas too.
I think no Soarer representation will have to be changed! With a bit of polish up a few cars here would probably go alright. Mine would need a respray first I am pretty sure But seeing some of the cars there which were just stockers with wheels or a couple of subwoofers in the back, well... |

I would have entered if my clutch had not done its impression of a grenade a few months ago - I was quietly planning on spending some cash to tidy up some of my paintwork...but then that cash got prioritised to getting back on the road properly.
Though to be honest, I'm happy to enter one event only each year - that being MV - at least there you actually get to see the cars in action |

I thought the standard of cars this year was excellent.
Standard of promo girls wasn't.
That black 180, Eggy's car, is a Titan 3.4L build with a T51R on the side of it.
They were getting it ready for the show, but a bolt was left in the motor.
They started it up. Rattle rattle bang. No more motor.
Pity.
Shibb's car did 515rwhp with a stroked 2L CA18 in a Sil80.
That car has a sequential dogbox and has run a 10.4 in japland.
Other highlights for me were Mitch's VY SS doing 575rwhp with a stock LS1 + T51, and Rob's R32 4-door doing 498rwhp with a stock VQ30 and T04Z. |
