Hi Guys,
Cruise was a successfull day, although a much smaller group than first anticipated, we had 3 Soarers in totoal (including mine) at the initial meetup at the M4, and 2 that went all the way up to Bathurst for the cruise, the tribute, and stay-over, getting home later today.
I am in the process of getting the pics off the camera I have, although some are fairly average, but I will post them non the less (who says a good photo is as easy as point and click).
Anyway, met some awesome people, and definately had a great time on my end, hope the other cruisers also had a good time.
Police where strong on the mountain yesterday, with more than enough fines issued to pay for track upgrades, and get a Krispy Kreme franchise in Bathurst, but the warning was there, and the police where VERY soft on people, with nothing more than a gesture to slow down when I ended up passing a mobile radar at 85km/h in the 60 zone going down the hill on Conrod straight.
Police towed 1 Commodore which was on dealer plates and up from a Sydney Holden dealership for the day, but everyone was pretty much very well behaved and enjoyed themselves, and I have definately come from this with a few more friends, and a new look and love for the V8 Soarers, and between myself and the other Soarer, I think we have converted one of the other cruisers across to Soarers, me giving her a drive of mine (with 8 police watching the track and keeper her in line) and the other Soarer having air-bags, leather, and looking VERY shmick, she "just loves how beautiful the Soarer is, and wants one for her next car".
All in all, the wet kept a few away (as well as mechanical and sporting issues), but those that ventured out had a great time!!

Hey Phil, some awesome photos there...
Can I use a couple to send to the Peter Brock Foundation mate, they might just end up appearing on the Borck Foundation website, and hopefully spring up some interest for next year's brock cruise (to be held 9th September 2008 )

It was good to meet up with a few fellow Soarer people that weekend, definately worth the hassles to organise, and definately doing it again.
The Police where very happy with our group, no tickets, no trouble, not even a single car pulled over from the Torana or Carfussion cruisers, but lets just say there was a few technical issues from other groups that went along on the weekend.
I have been invited to organise the next cruise by both the Brock Foundation, and the Bathurst Regional council, so organisation has already started
