Slicks put us in Class I; Don't know how Rossco ended up in the other one ??? Hayden was the only one running Semi-Slicks, which Qualifies for the Modified Class.

and given the same car and driver, what difference in times would you expect with slicks as opposed to street tyres?

well i remember a long time ago david went around in 2mins or high 1:59.XX, with street tyres.

and you can see his time from this weekend with the slicks.

so big difference.

what size rim is best for slicks / semi slicks? any reason all the pics look like 18s? surely smaller diameter wheels / tyres would be cheaper

18" Inch Slicks are readily available from me during the Season and our original sources only had 18's as well. The benchmark was set in early 2004 by Stan the Man Johnson.
