How is the best way to align the headlights? I think mine are pointing down too much if anything. I dont want to bring them up too high, they really are blinding to look into.

point your car at a wall or something about 2m away so you can see the beams on it they should point about level with the headlights.

It looks cool on start up, when you switch them on, they go up and down for a sec and then level out. When you go over a bump, or up a hill etc. it dips accordingly, pretty smart.

Easiest to see, when it's dark and you are in front of a wall, you can see the headlights adjusting themselves when switched on, that's what I meant. It's also easy to spot it adjusting itself when driving...

It also stops fools who dont know how to re-angle their lights properly from blinding oncoming traffic with their 4800k colour or whatever..

Well my HID's arrived - 4 days after postage from Hong Kong. They are Bosch branded and i cant wait to have them installed. All i need is to give the headlights a super clean before installation

You will be impressed Adam! Sounds like the same HID's I got.. I flattened my battery with all the excitement on the first night of the installation. My battery was already on the way out, I think I killed it this time. ha ha

Finally got my replacement drivers side light back in on Sunday night, just in time for 12 hours of rain the following day. Two more lots of rain during the week since, and no sign of leaks! At last, I think I've managed to beat it! Now I have to decide if I'm going to pull the spare apart again and do the same thing to it.

guess what .. and you're going to love this. The car yard in Sydney DRILLED HOLES IN THE FRONT OF THE LIGHTS TO DRAIN THE WATER OUT. Now i have these stupid holes in my headlights to plug up. Thats where all my water is coming from. Man what is it with idiots these days.

Haha, Adam. The trick is to drill holes on the bottom! =P Also on the top as well. Has worked a treat on mine. Hell if they are gonna leak then may as well make the gap big enough for the water to get out!

Umm,Adam, make sure you got the polarity around the right way, because i'm pretty sure its possible to put the plug in both ways. So make sure you got the red wire of the ballast going to the positive wire in the existing headlight plug. I know the wiring on my headlight plug had a red stripe to indicate the positive wire. You can check it with a multimeter ( if you have one ) just to make sure. Did you get the ones in the 'Bosch' box?
