Hey Shane, what kind of gear oil were you using when you had your shaft twisted? That greeny bluey coloured one. I had that exact colour of gear oil in mine, and when i was changing the clutch, I just thought it was the weirdest colour. I still don't know what that brand it is.

Hey Ken its called Redline Light Weight Shock Proof oil.
I find it very good for my gear shifts, I did try Redline MTL which is recommended for the R154 Box but my 3rd gear was very notchy so i switched over to the Redline LWSP and its been really good, nice and smooth shifts for a R154 anyway.
But i dont wanna recommend it to anyone as there has been the odd report that this oil is no good for the R154s. There was a guy i think from toymods? who used this oil and i think it wrecked his gearbox, he had to get it rebuilt.
But yeah. Works good for me, If your gear shifts are fairly good, id use Redline MTL if i were you, Its a reddy browny colour.

Great, thanks Shane for that information. I got my gear oil flushed when the new clutch was put in, and the mechanic put Synthetic Castrol Duragear, not sure how good that is compared to others out there, but seem to do the job alright.
