As thread title says, im after anyone in Perth who can disable the current cruise control parameters. I want the 108+km/h limit removed.

I've done it, it's real easy, all you need is the arm off a resistor and a little bit of soldering.

Yeah mate, no worries.

I'm going to Melbourne this week, will be back next Tuesday.

I've got a socket set, soldering iron etc. Would you just be able to pick up a resistor from Dick Smiths? Or Bunnings, anywhere like that.

Shouldn't take long, we can sort out a time when I get back.

I did a road trip to New Norcia yesterday and it was mentally draining and annoying to try and drive for a few hours at a respectful speed.

True. Especially driving up north, most boring straight road ever! When I went to Jurien Bay almost two years ago, I drove at a steady 160 - 170 km/h almost the whole way, was good! :-)

Nollamara, and it looks pretty darn straight forward. Fixed several blinky dashes before today. Plus slowly changing all my globes out for LEDs :-)
