WTF? Ok, come give me a kiss Luke if that makes you feel better. I suppose you won't have any objections since you reckon it's 'normal' thing for guys to do. Otherwise excuuuuuse me if in your opinion that makes me 'a prejudiced idiot' for feeling downright disgusted by it. Whatever floats your boat Luke, just coz you like and approve of something, doesn't mean I do. I'm disgusted of beastiality too, are you gonna call me names for that also? |

| I didnt mean to say that your opinions are vile or anything like that Daniel ;) You are quite welcome to be homophobic, as long as you arent incredibly verbal about it. Personally (in all seriouslyness) i am not completely comfortable with the idea of two guys thinking of each other the same way as i think about my girly girl (who turns 21 today ^_^ ), but i still have a bunch of mates who are of that swing of the pendulum and i still consider them to be good mates. I think people being persecuted or abused for their beliefs is an evil thing. But saying something like "..disgusting act.." one minute and then saying something the complete opposite on the subject isnt cricket. |

Yeah difference is being called an idiot by someone else... Hell, I call myself all sorts of things in front of people and I am self critical and it doesn;t bother me, difference is when someone else does...

Yeah one thing about me, when I joke around, I may do that. On odd occasion when I'm with some mates, we practically make fun of it and say comments pretending to be that way if you know what I mean. Never mean it in an honest way, just muck around for the fun of it, or to make fun of it, depending on how you interpret it. But in all seriousness, I have an opinion about it, as you may know, and I am repulsed by it. Simple as that. And while I don't discriminate or hate them, far from it, I tolerate it and whatever they do in private doesn't bother me, as long as I don't see it with my own eyes (never ever gonna go past Surry Hills) and hear it, I however do not agree with them, especially about one certain point, which has been discussed before and I do not wish to start again. I don't persecute or abuse them ever, for whatever it is they may believe. But having said that, I am not gonna jump on the political correctness bandwagon and agree with them that it is a natural thing to do... Incredibly verbal I wasn't... one word, all it took geez... Anyway, drop the subject now, don't want a certain individual to take note of this thread, and once again ruin it for all of us. Peace fellow hetero/homo sexuals |

| OK sorry for the idiot thing. But geez Daniel, homosexuality has been considered acceptably socially for a while now. I'm not going to kiss another bloke, but that is because I'm heterosexual. I'm not going to be disgusted if I see two blokes kissing though, good for them, if that's what makes them happy then fine. Bestiality on the other hand is not socially acceptable and is prohibited by law, totally different. |

| I realise it has, hence I don't discriminate, or chase them with burning sticks KKK style... I still don't find it acceptable in my own head, and that is the reaction I get if I do see it happen. At least to me, I rate homosexuals on the same rank as beastility and peadophilia, as I'm equally repulsed/shocked by them as they are not natural behaviour. Sadly it tends to become more and more socially acceptable over the years, and I'm fine with that, coz it does not concern me what people do in private in their bedrooms/barns/kennels etc. As long as it's not shoved right at my face, do whatever. I'm just scared for the future that when my kids go to school, that kind of behaviour will be promoted to little kids, due to the PC pressure of such minority groups, and make them think that it is ok. Or perhaps I just got higher morals/principles than society in general, who knows... I do stand for what I believe, and no political correctness is gonna change that. PC has never brought any positive outcomes over the years, it always results in ridiculously wrong outcomes. |

Higher morals or principles? As decided by who? You? Political correctness, like all things, is best in moderation. There are people who use the same arguments for black people, Indigenous people, any minority group.

As you may know, it is very hard to define morals as such, and it is also very hard to define as to where morals actually come from in the first place. All I can say is that you can tell the difference between someobody that has high morals, versus somebody with low morals, for example a gangbang crack prostitute / serial killer / drug dealer versus a humanitarian worker or a doctor helping people... pretty much self-explanatory. But to answer your question quite simply, it all depends on the point of view, so yes, in this case I consider this immoral, and so would plenty other people out there, of course they are told to STFU because of political correctness...
Luke Nieuwhof wrote on Thursday, October 11, 2007 - 04:33 pm:Political correctness, like all things, is best in moderation. There are people who use the same arguments for black people, Indigenous people, any minority group.
Same arguments meaning what? That they are not natural? Of course they are. I don't quite understand what you are trying to say. That's where good morals come in, as a person with good morals will not discriminate against another human being due to their race... And yes, PC is best in moderation, but with all those things such as gay couples adopting kids, or promoting gay lifestyle at school, that is PC gone mad, and is exactly my point and what I am against. While I understand it is people's lives here we are talking about, by all means, if you live with another man in a partner like relationship, perhaps you should have the same legal rights to things like Family Law disputes etc... I don't have a problem with that kind of changes, and I don't put a whole big blanket condemnation on any gay related changes. But there are limits where such extra concessions should ever get to. |

Andrew Cox wrote on Thursday, October 11, 2007 - 01:38 pm:well u really should congratulate your mate for beating a stock standard v8 soarer by taking off while your half way through asking me a question and i dont even see the lights changing to green in a car that is worth about $40000 more than mine and thats his claim to fame? what a hero!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAHAHA! Far out, chin up princess. There was no claim to fame, just stating what happened. Neither of us really care. Both myself and the driver own a lot faster cars than that (Aurion was a rental, hence us bashing up on it), we were just slightly surprised how well the Aurion goes for a stock car. p.s. I didn't know stock standard V8's came with exhausts? No need to make excuses mate, we seriously do not care and neither should you. |
