I'll be there spectating.

Niall Bond's worker Daniel will be running his RX3 with a T51R turbo into the 10's. Was talking to him yesterday.

Daniel Clarke should be there getting consistent 11.6's or 11.7's if the weather is good in his freak of a car. : )

Yeah I was low on fuel, bad track = bad 60's... still, Stil managed a 12.1 but i could hear it rattle as it went through the finish, so i got off it. Fuel was down to 14L which im guessing is not enough!

Also...

I almost had a couple of bad incidents on my way home from WSID in a Massive storm on the MT et Streets... NOT MEANT FOR RAIN!!!

Rear end starting aquaplaning whenever i hit a bad puddle of water. Every time it shifted gears ( shift kit ) it would move the ass end around unwillingly.. Coming round a corner i drive home every day, i was opposite lock at 20KM/h with NO THROTTLE for the best part of 70 metres and then almost went into a couple of trees with the ass end just not wanting to co-operate...

Im glad i chose to drive home the slow way and not the freeway @ like 80 or somthing! I was doing 50 on the highway as it was, and that wasnt really safe!!!

So.. If your on MT Et streets in the wet... DRIVE FRIGGIN SLOW FFS.....

Anyways... Looks like over the xmas break i might have to up the fuel system... Even in the heat i couldnt run over 17psi without it knocking badly...

SO more fuel which will stop with the Lean outs high in the rpm and back into racing sometime in the new year for me:-)

They are street legal Adam, however there is a warning about driving in the wet for the above reasons.

Sorry I didn't come and support you guys. I was dying to go. I even grabbed my helmet just in case I get the urge to race which I would of, but a friend called for some help so I had to go.

Probably need to wait til next week. I want to run the car stock for at least 10 passes then its exhaust time and another 10 runs. Can't wait.

Yeah for sure I'll be there. I am aiming for anything in the 14's depends on the weather really. I was doing some practice launches the other night. I was able to get up to just under 3000rpm, with no handbrake on my 18's with 235/45 rubber. It takes off very well for a car with standard gearbox and standard stall. If I am able to get 2.0 or 2.1 60 foot times I can see it maybe doing a 14.4 at around 95mph. I'll be happy with that ET for a stock car.

Then I will start to get serious and start doing mods. : )

Daniel I know the feeling of aquaplaning going through puddles it happened to me when I was driving my mates R32 GTS-T with semi-slicks when it started raining heavily back from the drags last year. I was doing like 40kph an hour I hit a puddle and the car was going sideways at 40kph an hour heading towards the other side of the road, no matter what you do it won't turn back straight. Lucky for me the car spun around and stopped in the middle of the road. My friend who owns the car was going off at me going what are you doing. lol.

And he drove the rest of the way and the same thing happened to him and he smashed into the gutter. lol

Yeah I will be happy with a 14.6. The compliance people when putting on the australian standard cat did a crap job of it. They cut the old cat off put the new one on and instead of using same size stock exhaust piping used something that looks half an inch thinner coming off both sides of the cat which makes it like a bottleneck. :-(
