The results with both runs ... interesting to compare. I was personally surprised to see only a 0.2 difference between my two runs - very consistent.

For those of you who just like the sound of these machines grunting I have posted up the Dyno run of my V8 and my son's TT. It is interesting to watch the AFRs on the TT run. There is room for better tuning yet.

Morgan - just use google for the conversion. Put in the search field "xxx HP in kW" and it'll tell you. (Obviously replace xxx with the value in HP :P)

Why deal in RWHP - simple - it sounds better! Bigger numbers ..... better for the ego !
I broke the 200RWHP mark, sounds much better than I broke the 152RWKW mark .....

Hey, finally got on the forums.. Was a decent turnout, not what I expected... Haven't seen anywhere near the amount of Soarers as there were in one place before!

I didn't stay til the end... Tristan's MR2 burnt my nose hairs with the fuel outtage, got a massive headache and packed it in! Unlucky to Paul who had difficulties with the boost controller...

Hopefully I'll be able to run my car next time as opposed to just chilling in the car park ;)

man, every where i looked, i kept finding a new neon, or some other random piece of bling - love those "spoon racing" stickers!!!

that soarers got more neons than tokyo city...they're in the back seat, along the floor, under the front bar, under the front wheel arches, under the sideskirts.

and then there's that dogs breakfast of a centre console........i'm gonna give you my auto shifter surround when my cars back on the road mate, and we'll trim that down properly and get it all looking a LOT neater....

oh and Rob K - i'm glad you posted here mate, i think i might take you up on that offer to borrow that pod heatshield of yours and use it as a template to make one up....just name your preferred beverage, and there'll be a 6-pack for your troubles

Ok, I feel the need to remind you here whose car is actually on the road at the moment. And if you're just gonna openly slag the Green Beast at least get your facts straight. First of all it's "Spoon Sports" and it's not a sticker, it's ONE badge (and before everyone chimes in, yes I am aware that they do not service Toyota). Secondly, the neons are only under the chassis, the rear axle, below the intercooler, inside the front grill and either side of the backseat...and the windscreen washers. All of which had been installed upon purchase and are scheduled to be removed shortly. So bite me, Ilich.

Blaine,

Nice web site.
I can think of better places to try out your new tyres then your paved driveway. I didn't realise it was you that was driving when I first watched it. I thought it would have been your son and you would have been pissed off but you're are a kid really anyway hey. lol:-)

Hope to be there for the next event.

It's really good to see that the Soarer community in WA has been revived again.

As for future events, anyone can organise them.
I don't mind doing dyno days etc. as I'm always at x-speed anyway, I also don't mind running a couple of cruises as I have about 50 different cruise maps here to choose from.

But don't forget, if you want a decent turnout, the most important thing is early notice. If you don't give people enough time to get things ready etc. then you wont get a good turnout.

Dan, cheers mate. Boost controller should be replaced in a few weeks so I can get back to that magical 300 figure. I believe the GFB bleed valve I have has seized, so it's running stock boost (sucked in Shane hahaha).
