I will plan a cruise on 20th Nov or there about... heading around Kinglake, Healsville and other areas. I know there are few people out there hanging for another cruise as they either missed last one or just have a craving for G force...:P Please register here. I will plan a route tomorrow. Yeah Chum creek is already on my list, i was thinking about Black Spurr too, what is after Black spurr? boring? |

Good to see so many interests. I went for a "pre-cruise" drive today to see the planned roads, and got some really good results!
So far, we will start from the ring road, going to Kinglake, Chum Creek, take a lunch break at Healsville as we pass it. Then go to Black Spurr, and then to Merysville, through Reefton and Yarra Ranges Nat. Park, and back onto Warburton Hwy to head home. The roads between Black Spurr and Reefton is 5 times longer than Chum Creek and same "intensity". If you have been to Chum Creek you will know what i mean.
I am planning to have this cruise on 20th Nov. If the weather is bad on that day, we will postpone 1 week later until it is a sunny day.
Meeting point...well, how about the Mobil servo/McDonalds on Ring Road heading towards Melb. Airport? (Melways Map 40, B5) The carpark is big and the place is easy to find.
We will cover fair bit of roads so i would think we should meet at 10am and leave around 11am. That way we can have a lunch break and 1 or 2 mid breaks. This one is not for the faint hearted!! What I mean is that the roads are not for the faint hearted, not that we are going to do stupid things on the roads!!

Hey guys, I live around that area, the roads are a whole lot of fun to drive, just gotta watch the traffic cops around there. Count me in though! |

we did this cruise ages ago, i think 17 cars did it
we stopped for lunch at marysville hotel, and did the run to the top at cumberland junction, had a photo shoot then we all trucked on down to warby and home
it was a great day !
yeah if your not carefull, the roads can trip you up 1 |

i wento to court today and lost license for a month, starting tonight! (i was lucky not to get 6 months)
so i will be dying for a good drive in a months time! i will also have some new mods to show off by then!
10am is too early for me though! |
