now that i've had enough pain killers to be able to move
yesterday was for the most part a rather pleasant day, but to the 15 people who didn't bother to tell me that they weren't attending the bbq when the night before they were, you're all incredibly rude

Great day. Go karts were good. Surprised there was only a small handful of SC members there, with all this talk on this forum I would have thought there would have been more people attending. Ah well.
My highlight of the day, reversing for a kilometre and a half along a sandy part of the road, after I chickened out going further 3 kays to get to the karts (sand kept getting deeper and deeper, getting stuck in middle of nowhere would have been no good haha). Goddamn satnav piece of sh|t!
From memory only Luke, Phil, Ben, Steph and I turned up (for the karts). I couldn't go to the bbq coz I had to finish all my christmas shopping, which is probably why others didn't turn up either.

Sorry, I'm probably one of those people Steph. The go karts were excellent though, cheers for organising it. They were pretty fast for hire karts (at least the ones I've done) and good fun. Could even get some decent dorifto when you tried haha.

how bout next time you tap me on the shoulder at the karts and say hey, sorry, gonna need to skip the bbq? thats all i wanted, instead those of us that got to the park were worrying about who didn't make it, and were putting off cooking the food while we waited for people to arrive.
from here, only sammy made it to the bbq
and when i made the same post on sf i got a •••• load of abuse because apparently writing the address of the park, and then standing up and yelling hey everyone its time to go to the park, follow me wasn't good enough
yeah i'm in a real great mood now.
i also have a pinched nerve in my neck and i cant turn my head or lift my right arm without excruiciating pain, courtesy of a crash i had at karts

joe - when did you guys decide you were sticking around for super karts, cause if i had known, i would of written down the address for anybody who hadn't written it down earlier, cause i did post it on both forums, but i also assumed people would tell me if they had 'forgotten' to write it down to bring with them. my biggest beef is nobody told me s..t when i was there and left me worrying i had somehow lost you all, and also left me holding the bill for all the food and drinks i had organised for everyone
ben, hun, next time just let me know so i'm not worrying about you being lost
as for the neck, i'm on 4-8 doses of muscle relaxant a day to be able to sit upright and turn my head. this is what i get for trying to drive a kart when i cant touch the pedals
anyone know what happened to the guy who got run over? i know his legs were starting to hurt at the bbq, but i couldn't convince him to show me and i never got his name

I decided superkarts as soon as I saw them, I even paid for my brother just to make the minimum 4 we needed Jason and justin took the other two pole positions Ross got ditched as they could not trust him in their super karts hahaha I think they were packing **** on any of us driving them? Had a ball!! Sideways spun out a few times and were told when you come off the track your out!! We survived hahhaaha

Apologies for any confusion Steph as i only ever intended to do the Karts as per my post, i couldnt make the BBQ as i already had other arrangements for the afternoon.

Hey Steph, sorry bout the bbq... i'm 500k's the other side of Kalgoorlie at the moment, got told i was leaving the thursday before xmas and had 3 hours before i flew out. This is the first access i've had since then (i was 800k's out). Sorry i couldn't contact you. Shame about the turn out. Thank you heaps for organising, would have loved to come.
