Thanks to Gary Morris for sponsoring an excellent day. Gary provided meat for the BBQ, some beaut trophies and continually encouraged all of us to go. I enjoyed catching up with everyone and setting a PB too! Gary's car was awesome with the guys sitting on it, strapped down trying to stop wheel spin. Well done Gary. Cheers guys!

I was pretty pleased with my result, last years dyno day yielded 131.6 rwkw and today was 149.7 rwkw. So close to 150, but looking at the graph, it seems I have an issue at the top end, possibly spark leads which are still original as far as I know.
The only things that I can think have changed since last year, are new spark plugs, I took the air filter out and was running 45psi in the rear tyres. The grinners were running 55psi in the rears, though Mark (runs the dyno) thinks that tyre pressure would only account for maybe 1-2 rwkw in amongst all the other factors.
It is also interesting that both grinners had been in for tune ups on the very same dyno in the previous few days, yet got much higher figures today with only minimal changes, ie Gary and Peter both had 0-30 racing oil today and Peter removed the two pump etc belts.
So the atmosphere gods must have been smiling on us today.
As you can see from the graph, if it hadn't flat spotted it would have hit 181rwkw and taken the trophy

Peter N about your increase in rwkw, did you take your Air filter out the First time,or just this time?
